I honestly believe the new show runners that took over after season 4, hated the show and wanted to turn it into a joke. Bad writing is one thing, but there are so many moments, especially from S6 and on, where there's no way they didn't know how laughably stupid some of those moments were. It was a straight up parody of itself in those last few seasons.
 
Also Warren is 100% correct on that LTV issue.

The whole point of a BK process is a fresh start.

New $ come sin, people take haircuts, future viability of companies against the trade off of past claims holders and alternate liquidation strategies are taken into account.

Coming and saying hey new company (what is essentially it is) you need to pay more for the sins of the past, is flawed, and puts current workers at risk.

If you understand Warren's biggest fights in BK law, you get she tried to stop corporations making harder from making it harder for individuals to have the same protection. Basically she fought tooth and nail BR reforms that make it harder for individuals to get this fresh start in the face of credit card and student debt.

The 20K a year thing is also laughable.

Trump was mocking the reporter, not his disability.

it wasn't cool either way, but one is clearly more egregious than the other.

Trump did not know the nature of this man's disability, and he has done that same ridicule mannerism for several people...

seriously, Youtube it. he does the same thing to people not disabled.

What season was Isaac the gay russian mob guy in, that was one of the best seasons of the entire show.

They should have limited it to merch and a take in any tickets and tournament spoils. Endorsements is going too far, imo.

Showtime sucks in general and I don’t trust them with anything outside of comedies like Shamless.

They should do a parody of GoT being pitched to the showtimes execs. “Wait, your going to kill off the well liked main character played by a famous actor before season 2?! Wtf are you guys smoking, let’s have Ned do the same one to two story lines for seven more seasons and then end it with.... eh who cares by that point, we will have milked it completely by then.”

Yeah Season 5 was the last watchable season. Season 4 was better from a writing perspective, but something about some of those scenes and the theme of 5 left a more permanent impression (her watching her own scenes of torture, disturbing sounds). I wish I could unwatch season 7&8 .

Endorsements are fine imo, the rule is "They can benefit from their name, image, and likeness". Ticket sales I'm not actually sure about.

I would have liked to see that if an athlete is receiving money, the first of it should go to paying back the scholarship they got, and that money then re sent out as financially need based scholarships to non athletes.

Shouldn't be getting free ride scholarship plus making money. One or the other.

Apparently it's supposed to rain on Halloween so some people on our neighborhood Facebook page are trying to get everyone to reschedule Trick or Treating to Friday (some NJ towns have been doing this, started when they moved it for Sandy one year) and it's got some Boomers all riled up talking about how they went Trick or Treating rain or shine back in the day.

But I honestly don't ever remember it raining on Halloween
