I’ll never understand liquor laws in North America. They are retarded.

Except for Quebec, that’s the one thing the French do right. Drinking at 18 and they have bulk liquor stores. Show up with a 4 litre jug, full it up with vodka.

I am calling bs on that last part unless that was some underground thing. That or I missed something big.

I swear as a kid I saw that being done in some liquor store in Quebec. To be fair this was out in a smaller town and probably illegal now that I think about it.

Yeah it’s all government controlled for hard alcohol. No beer stores lol like Ontario, get wine and beer at the conner store aka the dep, but SAQ is a govt monopoly that sells hard stuff, no self serve allowed.

There are levels to irrationality. A MLB umpire threatening civil war over impeachment is beyond irrational, that's radicalized behavior.
As I've already said, and you've echoed in this post, the media is only 1 part of it. I'm not pretending we can cure cognitive dissonance, but If you remove bias and dishonest reporting (to the degree which its feasible to do so) and maintain that over a long period of time (lets shoot for forever), then you're fixing that part of the problem.
I don’t think you’re getting it.
The media is as much a symptom of the problem as Trump is, it’s just further upstream.
Think of it this way: say you clean up the news and all reporting is done objectively and honestly. Do all complaints about liberal bias go away?
Now imagine you have cleaned up all the news, but a new source appears and it gives news that is openly biased. Does this source have a market?

What was the context when Jack said it?
It was an argument over Elizabeth Warren's native ancestry claims.

You can't even say what I lied about. Meanwhile, you were busted red-handed lying about my own claim on multiple occasions. You should probably just delete your account and kill yourself.

It appears that Mr. Jack got frustrated by Mr. Cubo's persistence and resorted to telling Mr. Cubo to delete his account and commit suicide.

Later, Mr. Jack claimed that he intended the comment as a joke.

It’s clear Jack had an emotional outburst.

Mr. Sketch, alcohol does nothing for you. Allow @Limbo Pete to guide you down the correct path.

Any Native American who can overcome the temptation of alcoholic intoxication is okay in my book.

What the hell does that have to do with my post lol? I didn’t even mention liquor

Nah, bruh. I get it. I think you're interpreting my position to mean that fixing the media fixes everything. if that is the case then you've been misreading my posts.

Yes. Both Canadian liquor laws and prices are fucking bullshit. That and mobile data rates. These alone are cause for violent revolution.

My love for you knows no bounds, Mr. Sketch. I see your name and I wish the best for you. You are a swell fellow.

Thank you, your benevolence knows no bounds.

Well, the CBC posts a link to their standards and practices page along with contact info following their articles. So, there's that.

That makes no difference to people still think the CBC is ''liberal propaganda.''

Yeah, I get the impression she would yell at me for not doing my homework 23 years ago.

And to be clear, I really don’t give a shit. I respect her intelligence and ability to communicate. But the sad fact is presidential races are at least some part popularity contests. And she knows it and that’s why everyone has to know she drinks beer.
I agree but if you don't give a shit, why is it even noteworthy that she's doing what basically every candidate has done in one way or another? Bill Clinton went on Arsenio Hall's show playing a sax and wearing waferers.

I explained it in the post you quoted. It’s noteworthy because presidential races are popularity contests for a lot of voters. Candidates know this and go out of their way to try and be liked by looking normal or interesting.

What I’m saying is I don’t personally care about “who I can have a beer with”. But others do care.

And just to be clear, I’m definitely not saying this is unique to Warren. Trump got inside of a truck and pretended to drive, Obama showed everyone he plays basketball and did the beer thing too, etc..

Gotcha. I misapplied your "don't give a shit".
