the Coast Guard guys we work with use those, pretty nice imo. Hell, now I want one...

I DL'd it and got to the ship after being dropped from space but haven't gone past that. Just haven't been feeling games lately but will try to play some more. The fact that it's Obsidian made me DL it.

Yeah, it'd be 5.56.

I was initially thinking of just getting the completed Mk18 upper from Daniel Defense cause, well, it's DD... but their barrel is 10.3" and is a government profile... which weighs the same as the 14.5" pencil I have from Faxon. So, I'll probably just buy the RSI quad rail from Daniel Defense on sale and get a Faxon 10.5" pencil when I see them on sale. Get an extra .2" so as to not have the ATF crawl up my ass if I put an AFG on a AR pistol... that I will Form 1 probably like a year later and convert to a full blown SBR.

I initially toyed with a Mk18 in .300 Blackout but at this stage I have:
- .45 ACP
- 9mm
- .223/5.56
- 30-06
- .308

I don't need more calibers that fit a gun that looks like a .223/5.56. I don't want a receiver blowing up when I put the wrong caliber in.

Just with a 10.5" Faxon pencil barrel. I just don't see the point in getting a 4.2" shorter gun that weighs the same... feels pointless.

That's sort of my problem with it. It's a space New Vegas... and New Vegas is like a 10 year old game at this point. There is nothing new here. The characters aren't very interesting or unique. The setting just isn't very interesting either. The combat is stupidly easy. The game in general is just easy, you get way too many skill points and you can pass every skill check. I don't see how you couldn't unless you deliberately handicap yourself. I'm playing on hard difficulty too.

The hardest difficulty just adds food/water requirements and takes away most fast traveling.. so it's not really harder just more tedious and time consuming. They give you so many items.. and that's without even stealing which I have refrained from.

Damnit. I needed an RPG to break up the game sessions of Rainbow Six Siege. Ggggrrrrr..

Looks like I'll just DL Civ V and Civ VI again onto my laptop. Or KOTOR 1 and hope it isn't so outdated it causes my laptop to crash.
