I really should have expected this. She doesn't drink. Has never done any drugs. Didn't think the connection with her mental health anxiety (she's not on any meds, just a past history of it years ago and now just underlying flare ups she or I can talk her out of) would affect things but that all made a perfect storm for one hell of a 5 hour panic attack freak out wanting to escape her brain.

Woke up early to hit the links before the sun could Dracula me with its burning ways. I still broke into a sweat walking from my car to the first tee.

Another player was nearby. We observed each other from a respectful distance, like warriors. He wore a Metallica tank top and had an over-the-shoulder bag similar to mine. He was approximately the same skill level as me. By hole eight I had worked up the courage to ask him to join me, but he was too busy looking for his frisbee in the sumac. I made two bogeys.
