i hear you, but the franken thing was a bit more complicated than that. that being said he more than likely got screwed on that one
When those governors get re-elected 4 times like Steve King then I will probably hear you too.

If Trump's loan documents actually have Russian Oligarchs as co-signers...... the GOP won't give a shit

1. Savvy businessman
2. Foreign diplomacy experience
3. What about Biden/Ukraine?
4. Everybody does it
5. This is it

Lmao some tweaker dude just caught hands from a dude then straight up ran the fuck down the street.

....back to being bored.

Really? A joke picture of a guy hovering his hand over a (supposedly) sleeping woman's breast resulted in him being forced to resign.

I guess...if you ignore the sexual misconduct claims, then yes, he was forced to resign over a picture.

i got my eye on you

Isn't it usually pretty predictable? If someone is determined to do himself in doesn't he usually succeed?

a promiment person, with a history of scandal, shady associations, shady connections, friends with powerful people just happens to off himself while in custody?

In the French Quarter? It can be pretty bad. But the location I'm working today can suck because the cheapest liquor store in the entire FQ is across the street.

Also HOLY SHIT. Wheelchair guy had a massive fucking protrution in his stomach. Its fucking gross. Its like square too and sticking out like six inches. What the fuck is that?

Apparently he's a hella big deal as a poet and musician. My friend (she's gorgeous, one of the best classical upright bassists in the world. Played Carnegie Hall when she was 14) is in the Swiss Orchestra and he did some big collab for some festival.

a parasite?

Franken is a terrible example. He resigned over it, so it's obvious that his base holds him to a higher standard.

The totality of the claims against Franken were:

(i) he kissed a woman during a skit in which there was a planned skit;
(ii) he put his hand on a woman's butt when they put their arms around each other for a drunken photo;
(iii) had his hand touching the side of a woman's bra while they put their arms around each other for a photo;
(iv) he took a photo pretending to touch a woman's breasts as a joke.

Here are the two photos:

Pretty incredible that conservatives were able to disingenuously leverage this into Franken resigning by saying "hey, if he doesn't resign, then you can't say we should resign when we get accused of stuff."

It was also strange how the women being Trump supporters wasn't considered at all relevant.

Umm, no, conservatives were not the reason he was forced to resign. A #Metoo obsessed Democratic party that pressured him to was. The snake ate it's own tail on that one. Nice try though, hack.

Did you know that there are virtuoso recorder players? Lmao, imagine being so incredible at something so fucking stupid.

...upright bass is almost at that level.

Not a fan of his policies, but always defended him over this. this was a silly prank/picture. a fu*king joke. the woman in that photo shrugged it off and "forgave" him too.

he shouldn't have resigned, and I chalked this up under faux outrage.

McConnell opened a Senate investigation into him and conservatives immediately started using him as a political hedge against the MeToo movement and in support of Roy Moore, who was also at the center of a (obviously much more severe) misconduct scandal at the time. It was obvious and it was shameless. Yes, some Democrats were far too quick to throw him under the bus.

Fair enough; in the interest of brevity I may have left out details that make it a somewhat worse situation for him. Meanwhile, this is what I was replying to,
they will give as many fucks as the democrats when the governer is in a picture in blackface or as a kkk guy and the lt governer being credibly accused of sexual assault by two women

and the third in line in blackface......

da fuck out of here son

I know you were responding to a different post but it's relevant here. That sort of puts paid to this other comment and makes the deficiency in my post moot, doesn't it?

No need to reply, just sayin'....

Democrats forced him to resign. End of story. Your hackery does not change history.

That's one way to look at it. Another way is someone determined to suicide literally has nothing better to do than keep trying until successful.
