It's kind of fascinating that we're getting a look into bipartisan insanity here. I think I'm safe in assuming that the proportion of Republican and conservative likely voters who think Epstein was murdered is higher than for Democrats and liberals, but still "both sides" have different motivations for believing it, depending on where they suspect the various rabbit holes leading off from Epstein's connections to international intelligence go.

I did expect *some* movement from belief in murder toward belief in suicide (even in a Sherdog poll), after the death was officially ruled a suicide, but no such luck. I think it's the first time in my life that I've seen this commonly-referenced form of mass delusion play out like this. I've read many times that belief is often reinforced by facts that disprove it, and I've seen that happen on an individual level a number of times, but until now have never seen it with a sample in the hundreds, of people I interact with.
