You and Russler doxxed a poster last month, this week you told @Gandhi to "fuck off" like seven times without any accompanying substance, and I'm sitting with a card from telling Farmer, in posts that did have accompanying substance, that the reason he called me dumber than Trump is because he is in fact very dumb, and lucky is carded because he used punctuation marks in parodying right-wing hate speech.

Yet you think there is some left-wing bias in moderation? You think if someone like Limbo Pete spent all of his posts following around posters that had him on ignore and flaming them with shit posts, details about their personal lives, and outlandish lies about them that he'd get impunity like the right-wing trolls on this board? Of course not. Because this place is moderated on a wildly sliding scale.

My great grandparents' family were from Hiroshima originally before they immigrated to Hawaii. I'm sure I had some distant relatives there that were taken out back then. Crazy to think about.
On my mom's side, my Polish Jew grandfather spent most of the war in a Russian prison camp, but most of his family were on the German side and didn't make it out.
It's crazy to think about how a few decisions here or there 100-80 years ago were the difference between you existing today or not.

My Euro side of the family... the Romanian side left cause my grandmother's uncle was a Colonel in the Romanian army and supported the losing side in a coup attempt just prior to WWI.

The Czech side just sorta left prior to WWI (grandfather was too young to enlist in the US military for WWI, was like 13 but still tried to and too old by the time WWII showed up) and I never really found out why they left. Though I find it weird that the immigration papers state they left Czechoslovakia but some work papers state my grandfather was Hungarian and born in like Vermont so......

That rule is a little outdated now with the streetfighting being allowed within it's own subforum.
The rule about not celebrating the deaths of victims in breaking stories is unrelated though and WR specific.

Grilled cheese is one of the few things that American Cheese is actually really good in.
Goat cheese is a really good addition to them when mixed with other cheeses.

I think Trump probably won't win re-election, but my thinking on it at this time is that it's so close that a bet wouldn't prove anything, except that someone got lucky. That's the kind of bet I try to avoid. The ideal for me is when both sides are confident in their picks, but the picks are opposing.

Nothing comes to mind, but I don't know as much about your views as you probably know about mine. Maybe you can make a prediction related to your (I think absurdly false) belief that radical "SJWism" has taken over the mainstream left.

Hedging bets means like having other bets that offset the first one. I don't deny that I clarify my meaning before making bets so they are focused on the actual point of disagreement. I remember when you dick tucked on me wanting to bet against a crazy CT (about unauthorized immigrants voting).

Ed: Another classic part of that episode is that in the process of backing out of the bet, you implicitly admitted that Trump was peddling an obvious and huge lie, which was the point of the bet anyway.

Would you consider "White Progressive Ethno Masochist" or "WPEM" to be a slur? I do. I think it's essentially calling somebody a race traitor, and it's roughly equivalent to repeatedly calling people an "Uncle Tom" or a "Self-hating Jew," and both of those get out of hand rather easily. It's racially insulting/dehumanizing as well as being classic junky stereotyping. It seems inappropriate here.

No, I wouldn't consider it a slur. I'd consider it "offensive" though and inappropriate. To get into slur territory for me, I'd have to see that term or variations of that term more often.

I whined that the standards were (and are) being selectively enforced according to the whims of vengeful conservative moderator. Had FB (and any other conservative poster that calls other generic names) also received infractions, I would be all smiles and crocodiles.

We agreed to bet on it, and then you wanted to add felons (that is, unauthorized immigrants + felons would be more than 1,000th of what Trump claimed--I had also offered to add double voters and dead people). I said, sure, we could add felons, but first you have to admit that what Trump actually said was a ridiculous lie and that we'd be betting on something that wasn't what we were initially talking about. And then you dick-tucked.

I "don't say" Fawlty did that, he actually did do that to multiple posters. Where's your proof that your accused actually did that?

Lies. Nothing was even talked about felons with the initial bet(that I signed off on, and you didn't). What happened was, you hadn't thought of that until someone brought it up. The bet was about illegal/invalid votes, not types of illegal/invalid votes. I signed off on YOUR proposal of less than 3000, and then some guy just came into the thread and mentioned felons, and you were all shitting yourself because you hadn't thought about that, to which you then altered the bet(yet again), and 3000 turned into 10,000 with a stipulation that I stroke your ego before signing off.

At the end of the day, I signed off(multiple times) on the initial bet YOU proposed, and you didn't. Lie some more, Jackie.
