You should talk to your father about that event. It is likely that he does not see it the same way as you. If you exit that conversation convinced of his wrongdoing, then forgive him. Understand that evil consumed his soul. Realize that he has many redeeming qualities that you are failing to appreciate due to your anger.

He didn't know. You'd be amazed at how many simple gaps you can find in people's knowledge (yes, including me, though not in this case). Jack didn't understand what "ad hominem" meant, and in that case he didn't know that the definition of corruption included that.
I gave an outline and then Jack ran away instead of challenging me on it. Who's fault is that? (speaking of gaps in knowledge, for a long time I didn't know that "whose" is the correct word to use in the above sentence and that "who's" is actually only a contraction of "who is," though that's pretty minor)
I was interested in showing Jack that he wasn't particularly good at semantics and trying to play games to support a candidate like Hillary wasn't going to work with me.
He could've argued that. I would've responded to whatever he tried to say. The issue though is that Jack thought he was clever and tried to use semantic arguments against other posters, which is why I did things like that to him. It made him very uncomfortable and he gave up trying to argue with me because his normal nitpicking (and attempts to cite obscure arguments or irrelevant studies) didn't work with me.
No problem, like I said, I'm a nice guy when not dealing with these psycho stalkers and I will answer any actual question people have of me.
