Seems like he went out with a whimper if all he posted was a penis.

What a bitch, he should've went out on an antisemitic tirade like we all expected of him.
Begs the question: was the wang in question circumcised or not?

Collins asks Mueller if in the colloquial context, the words are synonymous, and Mueller says no. Then he quotes the report saying that the terms are largely synonymous in legal dictionaries, and Mueller says yes. Mueller is on top of it, and Collins is confused there. But he tries to present it as a "gotcha" and the dishonest conservative media ran with that.

The CT is that Mueller didn't run the investigation and report.
You are misunderstanding. "Collusion" is not a legal term in this context (it can be a legal term, but only in the context of oligopoly), and neither Collins nor Mueller claimed otherwise. The Mueller report claims on page 180 that the colloquial "collusion" is largely synonymous with the legal term "conspiracy" as defined in legal dictionaries. Then Mueller contradicts that in the questioning. I recommend that you rewatch the exchange.

You're being really sloppy. I never claimed Mueller didn't run the investigation. I think it's pretty clear he didn't write the report, and I don't think that would qualify as a "conspiracy theory" under any reasonable definition. I think Weismann did most of the prosecutorial work and aides did most of the writing. I doubt Mueller himself would disagree.

You don't know what Brazil nuts are do you?

Mr President, I am not a big fan.

Feel like this will get lost in the tghread, but @PolishHeadlock2 shared this lovely gem:

I really got to wonder how much self control it takes for Secret Service to not either start laughing AT him or wanting to donkey punch him while they walk behind him.

This should go without saying, but you could drop the rotisserie of creepy personas you're trying out and just hang. I understand that you can't fix yourself in a day, but any non-creepy effort would be met with positive reinforcement, and you'd be able to condition yourself to relax and just be a human being, at least most of the time. Everybody has their issues that flare up now and then (just ask @LogicalInsanity), but your mental problems don't have to define you all of the time. You should think it over, and maybe consider some chemical help. Somebody fucked you up bad and it wasn't your fault.

yea, sometimes even I realize that I need to chill the fu*k out and pump the breaks a little.

I do admit, certain issues, topics trigger TF out of me. I just need to take a breath, and not respond like Nikki Santoro from Casino.

When I rage in a thread I get worse than that....

he just cant stop himself....america, you've voted in a nutter..
Right? Passing a good piece of legislation for actual heroes, and has to lie and make it about himself

I concur. When Wai does the normal thing, I won't ask wai, I will just support him.

Whew busy morning at the Hongwanji. Obon starts Friday.
Which one? My grandparents were a long time members of Honpa Hongwanji, the one off Pali Hwy.

LOL...you know, I tried getting into that show...it just didn't suck me in.

I mean, he's perfect casting for Frank Castle but the writing of the show wasn't absorbing. (imo)
I still need to finish season 2. Living in a living room though where there's a 3 year old running around means I'm stuck to watching YouTube vids of Rainbow Six Siege and pausing it when she runs out or just stuff like this:

I enjoyed the first season. I think people were expecting something closer to the Slavers Arc or what we got in WarZone where Castle is pretty well internationally recognized as the Punisher instead of the semi-early in his career version where he was always more slow and deliberate.

In essence, my argument is that the moneyed class made the (financial) rules and used them to ream everyone else making it necessary for (nearly) everyone of working age to work whether or not they want/have kids, and whether or not they can devote sufficient time to them.

I don't think that that's the cause of Americans not having as tight connections to their extended families as people in other societies, though. I'd think that more people working would actually increase the need for bigger familial networks.

You're talking about social relations but something similar happened in medical science. From Hippocrates until the 19th century people knew that dead bodies were bad. They didn't really know why but they were bad, maybe because of the spirits of the dead or the miasma.
19th century doctors thought that was bullshit and dead bodies weren't bad by themselves as long as the person wasn't sick with a (visible) contagious disease.
Long story short many healthy looking corpses had germs, the doctors did autopsies in these bodies and then delivered babies and killed the mothers while the midwives who didn't go around messing with dead bodies had a much higher success rate.

Yep. Lots of examples of that kind of thing. We have that deeper understanding of a lot of different things we didn't understand before, which has allowed us to make incredible progress, though.

The question then is, if we do not have arguments against a ritual should we just ditch it because it makes no sense?

See Chesterton's Fence.

That's not even getting into the value stuff.
Liberals may deny it but they have their own values that are not necessarily rational, for example, the importance of equality among unrelated people.

Hmm. I think the idea of treating people as individuals with equal rights and claims is kind of inherent to the outlook, though one doesn't have to go all in on liberalism to take its benefits.

Lol yes it’s the Honpa Hongwanji but the Wailuku location. So central Maui. Small world bulleh

I'm sorry you don't feel I've handled this appropriately.

I posted because the incident prevents me from functioning as POTWR. That makes it everyone's business. And people were gonna ask. So I admitted to doing it, disagreed with how it was handled (based on precedent), and thanked people (in case public transparency resulted in further punitive action).

We won’t take this lying down!
No justice! No peace!

I learned Judo in the basement down there. We would have inter-club competitions with the other Hongwanjis on the different islands. Back in the day they used to crank out excellent judoka. Hopefully still the case.

??? I quoted the relevant exchange. Collins is clearly confused, while Mueller is not.

You said that Mueller didn't even read the report ("clearly" even!) that he oversaw. And earlier that he didn't write it, in a way that suggested that he was not overseeing its construction, alluding to a nutter right-wing CT.

Monopoly is a gateway drug into politics. This is how War Roomers are made.
The question is where he goes from this point: Does he become an autistic Libertarian or triggered Socialist?

I love the MineCraft part when they get to the "board"

"Ray, how do you feel?"
"I hate you all, fuck you all, go die"
