Honestly the great beyond subforum I would think is a fantastic solution. Those conspiracy type posts and threads aren't simply deleted and vanished. They go to a place where people can talk about that stuff with others who subscribe to at least some of the ideas presented. Also, the people clicking through their threads will at least be open minded and curious to their thoughts on the matter, where as most of us in the warroom think it's all bogus and they're all either crazy or stupid for believing in that crap.

I don't know why they view the GB so disdainfuly. It's their sandbox to go play in and make their own.

They want the audience of rational people to troll

The truth is that Palis had a Faustian bargain with the mods. He could shitpost with impunity, but his protection required him to do nothing else. As soon as he posted subatantively, his protection evaporated and he was banned.

So it isn't a game where you take multiple days to go through it? Seems like turn based games like those would be rough sitting through at the same time. I get impatient enough with a game like risk. That seems fairly similar but way more strategy and time for each turn.
