Movement and curvature are both discussed in the OP. And I asked for him to show us insted of claiming the math was wrong. He has not done that.

And I don't want to spoil the other thread with your misunderstanding of things moving over a horizon, so check back there.

Shit, I just looked him up and realized I had him confused with someone else. I was thinking Amash was the Kentucky Rep. It makes more sense that he's being critical of Trump now that I know that (a) he's not in a deeply red district and (b) he had a JD from a T14 law school.

I looked him up, and it seems like he's a pretty clear fraud. He's a founding member of the House Freedom Caucus, yet, starting in 2017, he started voting like a conservative Democrat.

EDIT: I confused Amash (from the Republican House Freedom Caucus) with Thomas Massie (from the Republican House Liberty Caucus). Jesus fucking Christ, how can people vote for such blatantly generic, fake shit. And, of course, Jim Jordan is on both.
 
Has anyone else seen Nick DiPaulo's new stand up? I watched about 15 minutes of it, and it's terrible. But all the comments seem to think it's incredible. I get it, people like hearing guys make jokes about politics that they agree with. But the jokes are just terrible and unoriginal. He just isn't a very good comic.

Most of his jokes don't even have set-ups and punchlines. It's like he expects people to laugh just because he's saying something they agree with politically, and I guess he's right.

"If Hilary died in her sleep tonight, I'd jerk off to her autopsy!" Crowd laughs.

"Why build a wall when you have machine guns and frame throwers?" (nobody really laughs) "That was a great joke wasted on :eek::eek::eek:gy liberals!" Crowd laughs.

Nick DiPaulo is not funny. I was disappointed Louis CK even had that dip shit on his show.

The basic equation is that you have to be pretty darn smart to be really funny since it takes a bunch of introspection and learning. But people who are pretty darn smart are too smart to be conservatives, at least in this day and age. So conservatives aren't really funny. Or funny at all. Only successful conservative comic was Dennis Miller, and (a) he's said he's not actually political, and (b) he's not funny.

Since you can't stop your dumbshit self from tagging at me in that thread, I just went ahead and figured out a great scientific experiment that we could do.

We'll send some sort of device into space with a camera on it, and just take a picture of Earth. Let me know if this ever happens. I think that could really shut the door on this whole thing.
