Alright then, can't say much to that.

Alright then, can't say much to that.
not as common as Irish and ItalianBill Maher also comes from a Catholic/Jewish household IIRC. I wonder if its a common mix.
I would go to Kansas for a shooting war, or an abortion pick-up/drop-off.
(Grammarly says no comma there btw, but I say BOO to that)
Anyone here drink Monster Energy drinks? I see a couple people at work have them instead of coffee in the morning. Never had one, but I'm curious.
But I wonder if for Jews marrying outside their religion Catholics are the most common option. I suspect Catholics are more likely to be open minded about marrying Jews compared to other Christians, at the very least in the early to mid 20th century.not as common as Irish and Italian
Well, there are a lot of Irish and Jewish neighborhoods situated close to each other, especially in the North EastBill Maher also comes from a Catholic/Jewish household IIRC. I wonder if its a common mix.

Grammar has always been a bit difficult for me (so is reading), so I get why people have trouble making the rules stick. One that gets me all the time is leading into quotes and whether to use a comma or colon. No matter how many times I straighten that out I always revert back to mistakes. The effort would be appreciated, though.I think Sherdog posters in general use too many commas, but it's usually for the purpose of helping to clarify meaning--I will do so on purpose occasionally, so I'm ok with it. I have come to be able to tolerate just about all the shitty writing on here, but I really wish to fuck that I could go just one day without seeing a misused apostrophe, just to restore my faith in humanity a little. And I'm with @Jack V Savage. Good grammar just isn't that hard to learn, imo, and no more effort to put into practice than shitty writing that makes it difficult understand you.
@Lead I'm looking at you, man. I love ya but seriously, sometimes your posts are literally indecipherable to me LOL
That's just like your opinion man. There should not be a comma there.

Italian as well. Geography is also what I was thinking of as to the most likely answer in the USA.Well, there are a lot of Irish and Jewish neighborhoods situated close to each other, especially in the North East
If it’s not too much of a bother can you explain that a little more for the ignorant among us? Or post a link maybe. I don’t know much about clown world and haven’t heard of frenworld until now. All I know is I’ve been seeing the Pepe clown recently. So, question. When the right wing racists start with their new dog whistles, am I supposed to ignore it or can we call them on it?
Because the newest one, Clown World, is in line with /r/Frenworld with trying to normalize racist shit with baby talk and frog pictures. It's really obvious and they apparently think it's super clever.
I honestly couldn't tell you the difference between a $5 steak and a $30 one, and I'm not generally very scrutinizing about the quality of meat, but every country fried steak I've had, the contained "steak" has the consistency of a chicken nugget and the taste of an old sock. And, from looking at the Google pictures, that's the norm, at least in terms of consistency.

I foolishly got one from the cafeteria at work and....good lord, I had to go home to lie down on my lunch break. And, keep in mind, I eat Long John Silvers about once a week.
Well yeah... it's a poor quality cut of meat that's tenderized and fried.....
Honestly the only time I've had it that I liked it was from the place I linked Honey's Sit & Eat and it was pretty awesome there. I got it from a Chilis once and it was horrible (as most things from Chili's tend to be)
But Philly isn't really in the south so it made sense to me that we wouldn't have many places that make it well.
That's why I picked that quote. The commas around "like" are mandatory, imo. You can't really capture the feel without them. Also I hope this discussion makes everybody really paranoid about their comma usage today. There should be a comma there, though. You're addressing a man's opinion. You're not saying he owns the shittiest and bitchiest superhero ever.
(and I'd put two around "like" as well, but that's not as important)
Idk about Chili's, but I'll eat the ass out of some Denny's.
I'm not a chain snob at all.
Denny's, Perkins, TGIFridays, Outback, Macaroni Grill, Cracker Barrel, Ruby Tuesday I'm down for.
Chilis and Applebee's suck on the other hand
It's hella gross. The steaks are ok, though. Also, it's hard to fuck up a baked potato. You're going to pretend that the Bloomin Onion isn't good?
