Incoming rant for the peanut gallery. It really does bother me that we've entered a period of de facto cosigning the romanticizing of late 20th century Republicans. Today, the most common answer by American citizens to "who is the best president in US history" is that halfwit Ronald Reagan. And now even the center left is appropriating some of that revisionism (of Reagan as a decent, dignified guy as opposed to a more polished previous version of Trump) to draw a contrast to Trump's irreverence, which, let's face it, doesn't bother the vast majority of Republicans.

The Republican Party needs to be ripped out root and stem, not coddled back to the point of GWB/Reagan.

In the Washington housing market no way.

The median price of homes currently listed in Washington is $415,000 while the median price of homes that sold is $369,300. The median rent price in Washington is $1,995. Foreclosures will be a factor impacting home values in the next several years.

I don't even make 40k a year. No way I'd get qualified for a mortgage. And I've only ever bought one vehicle and I'm still slowly but surely paying the minimum every month.

As an example, friend that lives in Utah is a DOC guard... he makes only 40k a year. He qualified for a 4 bedroom 3 bath house that is about 2500 sq ft... and the total cost was only 220k. And it's only 10 years old.

By comparison the place I am moving to soon:

Utah homes retail for $224,300, with the average rising to $254,000 for the capital in Salt Lake City. In the past five years, Utah homeowners paid $1,454 for housing costs, including their mortgages.

Basically the Canadian courts are hearing / heard a case and going to determine if a man who bought a sex doll that resembles a child should be charge with child pornography.

My only concern is whether it increases the danger to children by making the person more likely to harm them. If it does, that's quite simple, it should be illegal. If it doesn't have an effect, then there's no point in prosecuting them. And if it serves as a kind of outlet that either prevents physical assault or reduces the amount of illegal pornography they consume, then by prosecuting them we're actually doing harm. I have no idea how you would go about determining those things, but that is what matters.
