Now I gotta slam a few drinks in my room before heading to Freemont. Thank you Mayberry poster for reccomeding buying a 5th to drink in room as pregame throughout the trip.

I always played cards at Binions (cheap drinks/ attentive waitresses (could be double fisting) and I think it was single deck at the time (it was still the horseshoe) and craps on the strip.

Most casinos pay 1.5 on Blackjack or less

Interesting on who would be considered an especially honest poster. I would posit that half or close to half of posters here are honest and try to work through arguments in good faith to the best of their ability. I guess kpt018 and Quipling would be up there just because they're both very careful and somewhat narrow with their posting, and fairly humble as well. But I would say that most posters, yourself included, are basically honest to where they try to correct or adjust positions when they are pointed out as inaccurate or shaky.

I would judge honesty by who is the most likely to be able to admit to a mistake, in large part.

I like blackjack because you can change your bet with a good hand, e.g. split, double down, and hold back when things look unfavorable.

Blackjack pays out 3/2, and 1/1 for a normal win. Some scumbag casinos offer worse payouts for blackjack which takes uncounted blackjack from being slightly worse with correct play, to absolute garbage.

It isn't? That's a pretty big hit for the Stinger. It's not "Stairway To Heaven", or "Bohemian Rhapsody" status in terms of notoriety of course, but I'm pretty sure most people(over the age of 30 anyways) know it when they hear it.
