Corporations can't defraud investors by forwarding false claims just because they themselves didn't make the claims, i.e. making a claim includes constructively adopting a claim. I can't get you to pay me $10,000 by forwarding you something from my boss saying it's a dynamite investment and they say, "well I didn't make the statement."

I'm in the legal field but most of my shit has to do with being a paralegal or dealing with adult felonies so... BASICALLY...
