Length of bet is factored in, so if that is heavily weighted enough it could exert undue influence on the rankings. Wins and losses should be the only real factors. Just because our dearly departed @PolishHeadlock made a 5 year bet with @waiguoren it shouldn't move him past you. Unless, of course, @Lead has a shitty rankings formula.

Also, it's hilarious to see you talking about "quality of opposition". You are on record as writing that you "have great respect for" PolishHeadlock and also as telling HomerThompson "You know I love you". I just smashed the first guy on a five-year Sig+Av bet (worth massive points in the standings) and the other guy has no hope of winning our bet in December. That's because I read the tea leaves and saw it was not a smart bet (although I was still 50-50 on the outcome).
