My musing for the day...

Sometimes I listen to comedy greats on sirius. It's basically a mash up of stand up comedy routines. Maybe it's just me, but Kat Williams is the most unfunny stand up comedian I hear. And worse, his style is nails on chalkboard irritating to me. He's the only person that now as soon as I hear his voice, I have to fast forward or change the station. Such trash material and delivery.

On the other sdide of the spectrum, Steve Wright can really make me laugh at times. Actually seeing what he looked like though.... jeeze. Pathetic.

no idea what I clicked on to have this channel to wind up on my feed, but now I'm addicted:

Trudeau groped a reporter (before she was one and way before he was in politics) she didn't push the incident further

Also, a junior minister got the boot for sexual harassment

Holy shit.

Also, I can't remember who it was that was bothering me to try out Sam Seder, but I actually do like listening to him every once again. He's the only liberal podcaster/YouTube host that doesn't annoy the bejesus out of me and he does seem to be very smart.

I recall suggesting him and his sidekick, Michael Brooks, to you

More so for the tone/bravado.

Yeah, I could probably do without some of the "bravado" as I have a pretty low tolerance for smugness and Seder especially can be a bit much in that regard. But I get recommended these things by YouTube constantly, and they are one of the few I occasionally stop to watch. I appreciate that Seder takes care to keep his panels on topic and drive at the question at hand.

They had a discussion on Elizabeth Warren vs. Bernie Sanders recently that I really enjoyed. They talked about, while institutional capital could care less about differences in presentation, the two's platforms (Warrens' being expressly capitalistic reformist and Sanders' being rhetorically socialistic) could yield different results in that Sanders might perform better electorally, while Warren might perform better in making policy proposals palatable to the other side. I disagreed with the premise (I think Warren would be easier for Republicans' to rally their base against and justify their unyielding noncooperation), but it was interesting.

I can't watch more than a few minutes of Seder before I want to slap him, everyone is an idiot to him, but he has good content on occasion.

They always suck me in with their titles and video clips. But then it's like a 1 minute clip, and Seder's unlistenable voice for the other 8 minutes.

Pakman is much better IMO, even if I don't always agree with him.

Of that clique, I like Kyle Kulinski and John Iadarola.

I can't stand Cenk, Piker and Kasparian. To me, they're worse than Seder, twice as smug and a fraction the content.

Cenk always sounds like a drunk to me. Is that just how people enunciate in the states now? Fuck me. I haven't seen John Ladarola, though, so I'll check him out.

he's just competent, reasonable and personable, I don't ask for much, lol.

Oh, this guy, yeah I know him, but I didn't know his name. I don't know any of the stooge's names except for not gay jared and michael brooks. Not even sure who Pakman's reek is.

Actually, if we're being completely fair, no one in this clique is more smug than Michael Brooks.

You're a board veteran and know the rules. Pics or GTFO.

<{jackyeah}>
I'm not moving into the Shed mang.

I found the best Valentine's day card for her.

There is a chili pepper on the front saying "DAMNNNN." On the inside it says, "You so hot, even the jalapenos be like DAMNNNNN."

The N13 household is a funny place. Checky.
In this vid I would be Kato, as mah wife gets home from work.

I made the mistake of showing this to my daughter. I am now getting ambushed with stuffed animals.

IF he signs it, he has to declare it because of some of the fucked up small print in the bill. When you hear about some of these details you will say, "He shouldn't sign this turd and if he does, why?"
The Wall funding was never in question or the real issue. It is already being built as fast as possible.

To be fair, by your very nature one really must read into everything you say.

I feel left out.

Good post. I want to see the evidence but right now it certainly does look bad.
True. Fair and wise.

U want IN? There are so many ways.....Rang mah, and lets scheme.

The answer to the second one is simple. Fission and fusion don't create energy. You have to put energy in to get energy out.
Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be transferred. Theoretically you could construct a feedback loop that would infinitely cycle, but to benefit from it you would have to interact with it which would disrupt the loop. Such a conundrum.

I like the fella from Chapo Trap House.

Oh man, unless Pakman has improved considerably in the past 5-6 years, that's a hard pass. I like Cenk as an interviewer but can't stand him as a commentator.

What was your beef with Pakman?

What was your beef with Pakman?

I don't think he's particularly insightful, he doesn't usually go in-depth on issues, and he's not very good in front of the camera and it makes me uncomfortable.

But I think the last time I watched his show was circa 2012. So it's entirely possible that he's improved.
