"The Progressive Liberal." Truly an amazing wrestling heel gimmick.

I knew this was going to get a quick response.

I mean...it was obvious. It matters that the movie is set during Christmas, not that it was released near Christmas.

The Nightmare Before Christmas was released in October as a Halloween film. Batman Returns was released as a Summer blockbuster.

That this isn't an actual movie was a shocker for me.

I love everything I've seen from this guy's shtick. I also think it's funny that doing the same in the opposite direction, like "The Regressive Conservative," wouldn't be funny at all, because it would just be a super racist, anti-thinking, anti-compassion, genocidal mouth breather.

This issue split my family in two over Christmas. Funnest debate I've ever heard.... and was not even in the WR.

Die Hard a Christmas movie?
The points raised during my family's debate:

Against:
The only thing it has to do with Christmas was that it's set during Christmas.
It was dropped in July, making it a summer blockbuster.
None of the other Die hard movies are Christmas related.

For:
It has a Christmas feel to it (intentionally or otherwise), arguably the only factor that should matter.

There's a guy in Mexican wrestling who I hear does a good MAGA schtick. I think anything can be done well given the right circumstances. I think a dirty cop gimmick right now could be awesome.

Edit: or for another conservative villain, how about a super uptight christian gimmick? Always chastising the crowd and fellow wrestlers as sinners, very judgmental, but of course would be a cheat in the ring. Something like that.

3 vs 1.

The fact you are tagging 3 people that disagree with you and none that agree proves you're wrong.

The only thing that matters if it's regularly aired during Christmas time.

Hmm, I think Golddust had a story arc like that where he was super religious and pro-censorship.
