Lol. Now that's being open minded.

Dude was super chill and my best bud senior year. We worked at the same Chinese restaurant and would drink in my car at the end of the night all the time. Towards the end of the year I remember it was something like 45 days straight. I had a 1st hour time release at school so I could go in late. :)

Guy inspired me to actually join the Marines (but I got out before it was too late!).

This is a helpful reminder

Just look at those women. How dare they

i was just curious. i never really knew. someone tagged @LazaRRus as right wing in here too. one thing that is interesting is i feel like the better right wing posters dont identify as right wing maybe but almost every left wing poster will just say thats what they are.

I had one "skinhead" friend in HS. One night after work, us two and my Mexican buddy went to rock some tunes in my car and suck down some beers (or maybe tequila). So Mexican asks skinhead what's up with his views. I'm like, "oh boy" to Mexican bro. He goes "Maybe he knows something I don't.".

Still cracks me up to this day.
I always got along with the Mexican kids, not that there were many of them up here. They liked to drink and fight, perfect match.

i wasnt asking it like that
I didn't think so and wasn't trying to accuse you of anything.

The fact is Cubo and I have both been accused of being anything from Trumptards to racist sexists because we dare to colour outside the lines of the newly defined boundaries of the "left".

In our case it was great because I had a car and he was old enough to buy beer. Around that time CO switched to 21, but grandfathered in 18+ folks so they could buy 3.2% beer. He came to the states as a kid and started off down a grade, so he was a little older than about everyone else. :)

The first 2 things I learned when I started going out.
Skinheads of any tribe out in force is gonna be a rough pit
And under no circumstances do you want to go down and end up under someone like Jon snow in the battle of the bastards

Being the bottom man in a collapsed pit scared the shit out of me and I've never entirely forgotten about that one. That scene gave me Nam flashbacks
<Lmaoo>

This conversation is getting so damned murky due to the ever increasing "if you're not with me you're against me" way of thinking. Sounds intolerant and decidedly illiberal to me.

I find it weird 20 years ago I'd get called a communist and pinko and my views haven't really changed too much and now certain friends talk to me like I'm a republican.

actually the first few times i came into the war room was like 2015 peak trump love and i obviously hated him. i thought the whole war room was pro trump, and it felt like that in every thread. i remember seeing a post you made that was like slightly critical of him and i thought oh wow there is one other liberal here. but then i left and came back after he was elected, made a thread about being really scared over it and got flamed.
