I had an N64 and the game boy variants as cartridge based game systems. I know for certain that blowing into the cartridge was "common knowledge" but I can not recall doing it myself, so hopefully I stayed away from it. Remember one time we were at a beach on Crete when there was a mild sandstorm due to wind, and getting sand into my precious Pokemon Silver cartridge. Had to shake it a lot to get the sand in it, and I could still hear some grinding for a while which scared me. Can't recall any cartridges ever literally giving up on me, though. As for the N64, it was the controllers that gave out. Mario Party gave the sticks a hard run.

What kind of games did you play back then?

On the NES? My favorites were Final Fantasy, the various Marios, and Faxanadu. I got the SNES and then nothing until the Xbox, and nothing since.

I bet on the Super Nes you never beat any of the Donkey Kongs.

Nice choices. Through the power of emulators I've been revisiting some of the NES games. Really like Punch Out, the Ninja Gaidens, and Ghosts n' Goblins. Brutally difficult games though. My favourite SNES game is probably Actraiser 2.

Oh, I remember Actraiser. That was good. There were two Final Fantasy games for the SNES I was really into. And the Legend of the Mystical Ninja was another good one.

You need to study the Bible first and foremost. Then dig into the occult and paganism...what it is, what it looks like, what it's about. Take some time and read up on the topics of spirits and demons... What they are and how they work. Look into secret societies and the entertainment industry. Then go back over Princes music, videos, . Then we can discuss this further. You can still reject everything and disagree but at least we can understand each other.

And what conclusion is that?
That "it's possible" Utah is the promised land and Egypt is really located on the Mississippi river. I mean, it's possible in the same way that it's possible the moon generates its own cold, deadly light I guess.

@Jack V Savage You Americans are lucky to have the internet plans that you have. Rogers and Bell is driving me nuts over here.

The experience grind was REAL. Holy crap those early RPGs. That and Dragon Warrior, I replayed them last year and it was a lot more grinding than I remember. Otherwise they were pretty awesome and revolutionary.

My wife makes an excellent oxtail soup.

And I’m thankful for that right now.

Fired up Fallout 3 for the first time in forever. A couple DLCs I never played. Man, even though it's a little out of date it's so much more satisfying than Fallout 4 despite all its features and nice textures. Money, weapons, armor, ammo, all feel real and important. It feels like a Fallout game, so good.

Yes, it can be a lot of work learning about things unless you enjoy it. So I don't expect you to go do that. But then you shouldn't be offering your opinion on what's possible or not less you be a fool.

Deutoronomy 34
Then Moses climbed Mount Nebo from the plains of Moab to the top of Pisgah, across from Jericho. There the LORD showed him the whole land--from Gilead to Dan,
2
all of Naphtali, the territory of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the western sea, [1]
3
the Negev and the whole region from the Valley of Jericho, the City of Palms, as far as Zoar.
4
Then the LORD said to him, "This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob when I said, `I will give it to your descendants.' I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over into it."

That description matches Utah(or Yu-dah/Ju-dah) almost exactly. Even better than the middle east. Google map it if you doubt. One possible explanation is that its one big coincidence. Another possible explanation is that it actually is the place described here.

If you superimpose the Nile river onto the Mississippi you will find several cities, like Cairo and Memphis, located in the exact same places along with the corresponding pyramids, obelisks, and sphinxes. There are ancient egyptian artifacts and pyramids all over America. These are facts. One of us is aware of these facts and the other is not.

How many times have you read the bible? How many times have you studied it?

I ask because the demon part you bring up is very controversial and incredibly diverse in nature. IT's what drives the wedge and lies about some of the early settlers in North America for starters. I'd be interested to hear what you have to say on the matter as I know you know a lot about secret societies and the entertainment industry. Whenever you have time.

I'm not sure I understand. How did the topic of demons divide the early north american settlers? Elaborate on what you mean if you don't mind.

Yeah Canadians seriously need to have a revolution over the usurious telecomm rates. Even the rates in Holland, which aren't particularly good, fucking destroy all Canadian plans. Nevermind Finland.

More than likely all those places were named after bible verses etc by religious fruitcakes like yourself.

Oh yeah, well this was my first gaming console...

Intellivision baby, that's right. Astrosmash, Night Stalker, the best baseball, basketball and football game on the market at the time, a cool Dungeons and Dragons game, Utopia, too damn many to list. Anyone? Or is this another "damn I'm old" moment?

@TheComebackKid would it be too much to ask for you to give a few decent links providing support for any of the positions you're holding on this Nile/Mississippi link and the "America is Egypt" hypothesis?. All I'm getting from internet searching is some embarrassing youtube videos (Look at that rock, that could never happen, it must be... Look there's a pyramid in Egypt, and now there's a hotel shaped like a pyramid in Memphis. ) and lame CT websites. From whence do you derive your immense knowledge? Point me to something good, quit with the "I know, you don't know but I do" schtick. Links or zip it, I think that's a reasonable request. You owe me the hour of my life I just wasted chasing this shit down bud, bring it on or...
<JonesDXSuckIt>

And bring it on with the occult/paganism talk, especially as it pertains to music. First of all, occultism and paganism are not the same things, of course perhaps you know that. I've played in metal bands for over 20 years now so I'm pretty familiar with the imagery that goes into music and the meaning behind it. You do realize that bands/musicians use certain imagery because it looks cool and fits the genre of music, right? Some bands have gotten pretty into it but no one owes their success to the Mysterious Dark Forces, that's just a stupid. Anyway if you've got anything to offer beyond the usual "Beyonce' is a demon, look at that symbol" shit, I would gladly give it a look.
