Can't argue the history aspect. And if you don't like the songs that's fair. I'm personally a fan of singer/songwriters more than performers, so I get that Johnny doing his own shit has a leg up. But when artists knock covers out of the park then I ain't gonna hate. All that aside, there's a warmth, depth, and soul to the recording by Rick.

No clue how you can like Cash and not think this is great. Yeah, it's a Nick Cave cover, but I'd hardly call it "hip".

I'd say a barber's value is highly dependent on how you need your hair cut but I haven't paid for a haircut since 1999. The Army cut it for six years and I've been cutting my own with clippers since I got out. My wife might clean up my neck a bit in the summer but that's about it.
