Zankou, panamaican, Lord Coke, Trotsky, me, bkmmafan, theworm, darkballs, minicraque, amerikuracana, and JamesRussler have all claimed to have some sort of legal background.

That's probably a little disproportionate.

I thought @BKMMAFAN said he was actually just a normie who happened to have interest in and impressive knowledge of the law. Also, that Seahawks/Heat fan whose name escapes me right now has posted here a bit and I believe is an attorney.

EDIT: Faustian

I thought he was an accountant (and professional amateur street fighter of course)

@faustian can you clear up this matter of great importance?

I'm unfortunately also an attorney. Egads!!!

I remember JRE making fun of how Hollywood always would portray being knocked out with a gun as just going to sleep for awhile when it usually means serious brain damage and a concussion.
That always bothered me more than it should. The same thing happens from stomach punches, makes no sense.
Also, the long-term KO with no serious consequences. If someone is out for a full minute, they should be rushed to the ER. Once a friend of mine had an accident while car surfing, and he was out for maybe 30 seconds, though he fell on his first attempt to stand was actually sitting for more like 10 minutes. We decided to take him to the ER even though he said he was fine. On the way, it became apparent that his short-term memory was seriously fucked.

"Where are we going?" "Are you serious?" "Yeah, it's late, where are we going?" "You hit your head bad and we're taking you to the ER." "Oh shit, can you call my parents?" "Yeah."

Then a minute later he says, "where are we going?" And the whole thing repeated. Went through that all the way there.
Happened to my mom once but it wasn't from a concussion. Just happened out of nowhere, was very worrying. My brother film her going through the cycle of questions, getting the answer, then asking the same questions again.

"In South Africa and every part of the world today, social justice doesn’t fight racism, it fosters it. It doesn’t defend rights, it destroys it. It conflates disparities with discrimination. It suggests people are guilty before proven innocent. It believes in the rule of leftism, not the rule of law. It believes in feelings, not facts. It believes in microaggressions, not maturity. Social justice is about perceived injustice, not proved injustice. It is an unending, unhelpful, unsatisfying thirst to fill broken cisterns. It doesn’t affirm human rights. It doesn’t advance the gospel. It isn’t the gospel. It worships the critical theory, not Christ."

Well black South Africans have had a very real injustice committed against them that only ended within the last 20 years and has lasting consequences. They may not be taking the ideal path to correcting those but nonetheless that injustice should be addressed.

It's weird how common that apparently is. At the time, I was a little drunk and trying not to laugh but also really scared. In real life, head injuries are no joke.

You guys may have been wondering, but I'm not a lawyer.

Had the same thing with a friend of mine that was KOed at an amateur MMA tournament. He was there by himself and the organsers just let him drive. Another friend heard he'd been KOed and called to see what had happened, and he was lost, driving around, repeating himself every minute or so. They had to convince him to pull over, give them the location and then stay on the phone while they went and picked him up.
He wasn't right for a couple of days.

I am signing up for no gi worlds guys wish me luck

I had something similar happen to me. I wasn't KO'd I just had a rough couple fights at a ammie tournament and took a lot of shots. My neighbors met me for the first time and invited me to a party. I showed up at the party the next day and they asked me why I was talking so much different that day. They thought I was developmentally challenged when they met me and I had no idea I was talking weird.
