"He wasn't successful in overthrowing democracy despite trying as hard as he could. Therefore the people who correctly predicted that he'd try were being hysterical."

FFS, he rallied a mob to storm the Capitol lol. He had multiple high level supporters like Flynn openly calling for martial law in exact terms. If you don't think he'd 100% have jumped at the opportunity to enact martial law had military leaders not vocally opposed him, you're considerably dumber than I thought.

LOL, he "rallied a mob to storm the Capitol." Spare me. He fomented a bunch of unhinged goons with vague rhetoric. Here comes the part where the fact Twitter banned him will be cited as evidence that he was "inciting an insurrection" because Trump tweeted, "For those wondering, no, I won't be attending the Inauguration."

Oh, and his criminal figurehead buddy who held no power was calling for martial law, which according to reports was an idea Trump himself spurned, in fact a proposal he personally blasted as "fake news", while Trump's sitting generals with actual power issued a formal rebuke of Flynn's statements on Newsmax.

This right here is precisely why I mock you unibrows. You slurp up these imagined, fabricated threats as legitimate. We even have the advantage of hindsight, where this never came to be, where all credible reporting indicates it was never taken seriously, where the facts show those in power rejected the very notion of it, but you highlight is an example of a material threat.

Astonishing. The delusions won't end with Trump's reign, I see.

People who correctly predicted both that he'd try and that he'd fail were being hysterical, but the the guy who thought there was no chance at all that he'd try was right even though he did try.

You're just as misguided as the traitors!

I'd be willing to place a small wager on it being more due to real estate speculation/market manipulation though I have no data on that at all.
There's definitely multiple reasons... Even foreign investment as well. I actually read a really good study on the effects of dual income household on the housing market, I'll link it later.
