At the very least it needs to be a holding call.
It was a penalty. But given how they were letting them play up to that point is why people are pissed.

Lazard was clearly held, Kenny Clark got FUCKING TACKLED BY THE CENTER at least twice, and the Kevin King DPI Preston Smith is being fucking HUGGED FROM BEHIND by the TB RT.

No clue what this is but when I Google Tim Chapman I get somebody that worked for Dog The Bounty Hunter.

Hoping they are the same person

Cass is actually pretty smart.

But...I just don't get how what he prescribes is conservatism.

Cass is supposedly pro-labor (and calls for a "conservative labor movement") and anti-regressive tax cuts. So I kind of assumed that he was a technocrat with ethnonationalist sympathies. But throwing in the "multi-ethnic" bit? Without upward distribution of income and ethnic animosity, what even the fuck is conservatism? Sounds like homeboy wants to be Obama.

Not just downplaying. Literally said that Trump refusing to accept defeat was as unlikely as aliens attacking, even though it was obvious what was going to happen. What did everyone learn from expressing extreme confidence that something wouldn't happen and then seeing it happen? An error that large should lead to serious rethinking.

People make mistakes. Trump's gone and there won't be a next time so what's there to rethink? Trump was certainly a bigger baby than I would've guessed. BFD. In spite of it, out the door he went and America goes on.

I learned as a yute to avoid blaming the refs, even though there's endless opportunity. Plenty of fucked up calls in Steeler history. Just gotta go out there and win. GB shouldn't have kicked that last FG.

It took me a long time to establish the International brotherhood of interbots local union 168. We bots needed to stand together and negotiated with @Lethal and an annoyingly neutral @Lead to build an agreement that both sides found fair

I mean I really really REALLY would like to train a chatbot with posts from WR conservatives & one with posts from liberals and let it loose on the Sher and see which passes the Turing test.

I have a hunch

Man that's not aged well
It's aged beautifully. I was right, you were wrong.

You all believed Trump would refuse to relinquish power, and would cling to the office against all democratic norms. You were expecting martial law. This is the hysterical fear the media slung to gullible idiots on the left who were as deluded as the dotards who stormed the Capitol.

As I told you again and again, Trump was not a fascist, and didn't have the spine or ambition for a coup d'etat. He slumped off in disgrace exactly as I said he would. Biden is President.

Aged pretty damn well.

Mick, sometimes it's proper to limit your losses and call it a day. I never expected martial law. I also never expected Trump would succeed. But refuse to relinquish power, and would cling to the office against all democratic norms? That's actually precisely what happened. Trump tried everything to nullify the freaking election, for fuck's sake.

And the false equivalency of people who called out Trump's anti-democratic and proto-fascist actions to traitors is something that, with all respect, you should consider editing out of your post. It's shameful and wrong.

Trump is a traitor and anti-democratic. Get over it.

Trump is a grifter who conceded his office per our democratic norms.

Of course, I'm not a pro-Trumper. Never was. Guess you forgot. I just found you TDSers as mindless and obnoxious as him.

Fascists don't respect the law, or work within the law. They dissolve the law.

This is what I tried to explain to you, but you were too busy bleating what you read in a CNN headline that day to figure it out. I told you again and again Trump was going to exit in disgrace. That's exactly what happened. It didn't require a crystal ball. It only required not buying into the red/blue partisan swill that floods your LED screens every day.

"He wasn't successful in overthrowing democracy despite trying as hard as he could. Therefore the people who correctly predicted that he'd try were being hysterical."

FFS, he rallied a mob to storm the Capitol lol. He had multiple high level supporters like Flynn openly calling for martial law in exact terms. If you don't think he'd 100% have jumped at the opportunity to enact martial law had military leaders not vocally opposed him, you're considerably dumber than I thought.

Trump is a grifter who conceded his office per our democratic norms.

I'm not sure if I can follow the mental yoga you're employing here.

Trump hindered the transfer of power. He undermined the credibility of the electoral process with baseless claims. He encouraged intimidating electors, leading to the events at the capitol. He conspired with DoJ officials to fire Rosen and overturn Georgia. He tried to intimidate state election officials to get them to falsify election results.

So that's "conceding the office as per [your] democratic norms"? Not going all the way and staging a full coup or getting dragged out of the White House physically?

And this ladies and gentlemen is what TDS actually looks like.
