Not sure that I like or agree with this, particularly the premise that "defund the policy" obviously is synonymous with "abolish the police," particularly since the former specifically gained notoriety in replacement of the latter for some good reason.
 
I don't know how many times we have to spell it out.
If you tag people into threads just to flame them without addressing the topic, you will get warned, carded, dubs then banned.
If you want to discuss each other rather than the thread topic, do it in the lounge or take it to the OT.

This is a form of derailment in which you are no longer discussing the topic at hand and choosing to just personally attack another poster. Avoid severe accusations against other posters, both direct and implied (such as murder, :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:philia and rape). A strong line is drawn on any threats (whether violent/sexual) to other posters or members of their families. Additionally, do not wish death on another poster (e.g. "Kill yourself", "I hope you die...").

What's the Starman fiasco? Just him being overconfident in a Trump win? I think that's kind of baked into the mindset: no one really takes you seriously as an impartial thinker, so getting some flack about aggressively toeing the partisan line is well worth getting to chortle about being right and knowing more than your opponents.
