Why do things always have to skyrocket? Can't they just rocket?

Think also he was the one to implement romenycare.
No. That would be Romney lmao. But he did implement healthcare protections and options for people with drug addictions to get covered treatment iirc.

I am rejuvenated....

Meh.

When you think back to then, when you were young and in love, are the memories in black and white?

Is he less or more appealing to the left than Biden ?

You should try to get crotchrocket to catch on as a verb.

"I went to take out my trash, and when I opened the lid a raccoon crotchrocketed out of there and up a tree.

I have confidence that you can singlehandedly make this a thing.

Thought R passed and he implemented but that was his words lol

As I read more I'm like yuck, defending his rapist brother in law from registering. He would not go far in a primary.

@Jack V Savage @Gandhi

What do you guys think about the McGregor/Khabib odds? +140 for McGregor is a pretty enticing line, considering I see him as the favorite.

As much as I dislike the Patriot Act and the behavior of our federal level of government, that's an irrational concern. But hey, I won't be going to Dubai where they toss you in jail for having alcohol in your system. Life's full of choices.
Of course, it's irrational. As I said, I don't have any reason to expect I might have any trouble at the border other than that it's legally possible. It's a "principle of the thing" kind of thing. I know my own little personal protest against it doesn't amount to a hill of beans, but I see it as a good enough reason to not want to give the US any of my tourist dollars.

Rockets can fly parallel to the ground. Or they can be aimed at things on the ground.

But a skyrocket is launched perpendicular to the ground.

Fucking rubes.

This post is a trig fail :)

Conor has no chance of going the distance and winning, does he? Has to be Conor inside the distance if he's going to win. I don't think he can finish Khabib after 3. So maybe I'll take Conor ITD +165, and in rounds 1, 2, 3 at +400, +650, +1400, and hedge with Khabib to win at -155.

Moved this to the lounge since it is OT in the thread in which it appears.
Hopefully the rest of Canada follows suit.

The Liberals under Trudeau have been the most embarrassing Canadian government of my lifetime.
Really?

Embarrassing to whom?
""I want to pay a particular tribute to Prime Minister Trudeau for his leadership and skilful chairing, which enabled us after two days of negotiation between leaders to agree actions and a shared approach on some of the most pressing challenges facing the international community and our citizens," she (Theresa May) told parliament."

"“He’s a good man, he’s done a good job and he loves the people of Canada,” Trump said."

Tell me, what do you think about Donald Trump's handling of the American economy? And what about Trudeau? What do you think of their respective handling of the NAFTA renegotiation? How's the unemployment rate where you live? How was Stephen Harper's relationship with the provincial premiers?

And you must be a young'un if you don't remember Joe Clark. He was Prime Minister for less than a year.
""His tenure was brief as he only won a minority government, and it was defeated on a motion of non-confidence. Clark's Progressive Conservative Party lost the 1980 election and Clark lost the leadership of the party in 1983."

Mind you, Clark rose like a phoenix to become very well respected as Foreign Affairs Minister under Mulroney and later as an elder statesman, but his ouster from office by his own party easily outshines anything Trudeau has done.

So yeah, if you graduated high school after 2010 you might have the impression he's awful, but you might want to look around at the people who would replace him if he loses; it could be a lot worse.
