Well, atleast one of us has to mark for the Canadian icon.

94 to 95 = 1,163,259
95 to 96 = 931,954

But this is all based on motivation. All in all, wrestling was doing better year by year until the peak.
Uh...you might wanna look at the shows column.

Not sure exactly what that term means, but Misawa would fit it much better IMO.
Misawa is up there, but Japan allowed better matches and more open styles. I prefer Bret because while he was forced into a more American/WWF style of wrestling, he made every match epic. This is a guy that forced a 5 star match out of Sean Waltman/the 123 Kidd. He was just better than everyone else, other than Shawn. But those two were magic together - too bad they hated eachother.

You know what though, fuck all that shit.

Kurt Angle is the best "technical wrestler" out of the whole bunch. Hands down.

HBK was better at getting great matches against shitty opponents, but Misawa could elevate even great opponents (and could carry stiffs). That's kind of what I think of as the best technical guy--minimal mistakes, can work with any style and elevate everyone.

Like I said, the styles allowed are completely different. In Japan, the main guys were allowed to have 30-60 minute battles where they could use every wrestling move in the book. But in WWF, they are forced to utilize the Circus routine - they are doing the same thing, every week, in a different city. So for Bret to come up with amazing matches with such limited constructs was impressive.

Bret took pride in that kind of stuff, which makes him such a mark like @My Spot and @HereticBD say.

But a guy like HBK got bored of that, due to being on so much coke.

I sometimes think this place has a gay limit, then the reminiscing on professional wrestling happens by people I believe to be adults
Out of all the actual dumb stuff discussed on these forums, early 90s wrestling should be the least of your worries. Grow a pair, and bleed red for a change.
