Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas man. Two of the GOAT RPGs. Fallout 3 was 10/10, NV made some enhancements to gameplay, but the tone/story in F3 was second to none. Avoid Fallout 4 like the plague.

Controllers have a place in gaming, even on PC. I use one for racing games (can't afford even a shitty budget wheel setup) and most platformers.

M/Kb is obviously the vastly superior options for shooters and MOBAs.

There's a great clip on YouTube of Wildcat playing Fortnite with his friends Nogla and like 4sevenzero I think. 4seven gets downed, then Wildcat gets downed and you can hear it in his voice him getting frustrated and fucking Nogla shoots both of them with a rocket by mistake.

Adding aim assist to controllers these days is pure garbage. I understand why it exists on consoles, but it is wack to have someone's aim just lock in. I've never played, but the aim assist on Fortnite is apparently dumb strong. It's relatively weak in PubG and Apex Legends. COD is somewhere in the middle.

Nobody has ever seriously been trying to cancel Christmas and "Happy Holidays" as a greeting has been around and in popular use for like a 100 years.

Also, I have literally never met the stereotype of someone being offended by "Merry Christmas". I've known Jewish and Muslim families that celebrate Christmas. It's become a secularist corporate holiday, and everyone celebrates.

Yeah, I've heard it's stupid bad on Fortnite but it kind of makes sense. Game was designed with kids in mind.

Indeed, I always thought I would do much better at racing games with a steering wheel and proper throttle control, but that's not trying to be a general purpose controller, and sure a controller may be better for platformers but I kind of left those behind with the Atari.

Anyway, that's just me. Obviously, consoles are still wildly popular. But I already have something that plays all the games I want so getting a separate gaming device has always seemed silly to me no matter what the benefit.

Refreshed repeatedly for likes but no joy so this will have to stand in.

Aim assist for a competitive game sounds really stupid. So, before it was a pain to play these games due to cheats getting head shots all the time so the solution was to give everyone help aiming? SMH
