Shit, I came into work early today for free coke. Viciously hungover because of the Pats game and a friend from Oklahoma just moved here. I think I only had like twelve shots, made the mistake of drinking on an empty stomach.

So free drugs ftw. It's a shame I have too big of a mouth and an addictive personality. I could make SO much money selling drugs.

Last restaurant I worked at hired a very talented chef. He tried to roofie the girl I was dating at the time. Problem was, he drugged my drink, not hers. I'm a mountain man, so I just had a good time. Next morning was my day off, and I got a call that he was railing lines in the kitchen and got fired. Never saw him again. Mostly just pissed that the one day he just went off the rails to do rails off the cutting board was the day I wasn't there.

Take the German word Lehrer. It means teacher. But there also is the word Lehrerin, which is... teachress? A female teacher.

So if you wanna address the whole group, you have the following options:

"Liebe Lehrer" - because there is a thing called 'generisches Maskulinum'. The male version also covers everything. If you hold a speech, this would likely be considered rude (and understandably so, because you are addressing individual persons). But e.g. for a newspaper article, it is quite convenient not to have to go for #2...

... which is "Liebe Lehrerinnen und Lehrer". You address both sexes. A bit complicated, but well established. However, the generic masculinum still persists, which is why ...

... someone came up with "Liebe LehrerInnen". Yes, they capitalize the I in the middle of the word. I don't think this is any 'officially' accepted way to write. But...

... in times of nonbinary etc. people, it gets worse still, now it would be "Liebe Lehrerx"

The only obvious decline I see in Biden is in his eyesight. E.g. from what I saw of his appearance at the convention, the only issue he had was the teleprompter font seemed to be a bit too small. Just my 2 cents, though. I'm not a Biden watcher by any stretch so I might have missed the most serious stuff. And sorry, but I don't trust the videos posted by @Sketch to be legit so I don't watch them.

Speaking of retirement homes, the first Joe Biden ad I saw was one where he was visiting a retirement home and he looked like he belonged. I immediately Googled his age because it seemed kind of ridiculous.
