I don't think you're understanding the point, though. No reasonable person would say that every Spanish noun now needs to be de-gendered, like "x telefonx" or "x lamparx". The argument would that group terms that are explicitly meant to encompass both genders shouldn't default to the masculine version when the masculine version specifically refers to the male subgroup. "Latina" isn't simply a word like "la lampara" that is feminine by happenstance: it's a feminized version of a masculine word that stands in for the entire group.

Sure, but the imbalance in the states isn't something that I think could really be defended on principle. Just something that they had to do to get a deal done. No one benefits from it now.

In my defense the last election I didn't vote for the people that ended up taking office where I used to live.

I haven't gotten a chance to vote for folks here in Utah yet.

I hope these fucks all get dysentery from whatever they drink today or tomorrow.

Anyone see Pelosi's interview this weekend where she couldn't seem to find her words? First time I have seen her like that.

Then there's Biden's pretty glaringly obvious decline. McConnell I would wager couldn't remember how to access shit on his computer without an aid's help with how slow he can seem.

Funny how it's supposed to be "by the people and for the people" and yet they act like a ruling class of elites that would be better served sitting next to Vlad the Impaler, Peter the Great, or Napoleon.

Legacy admissins to fucking schools like Yale and shit need to stop too so these idiot's children can't get top tier credentials and shit simply cause great great great great granddaddy was lucky enough to have enough money to go there in the Civil War.
