At the same time, this fucker autoplayed on my home PC when I went to the page after the one where you posted it--because someone quoted i--so I actually ended up listening to it and man, I'm gonna have to call that one the exception that proves the rule, right there. Yessiree, Bob. I started looking for a mute button on the video itself after a few seconds, but that gave me just enough time to intuit that something was off so I let it go. I fucking guffawed. Thanks.

At work I can look at whatever the fuck I want on the internet, but I can't have sudden loud noises of who the fuck knows what blaring out when all I did was click on the Next button ITT. It really burns my arse, to be frank, that and any other auto play shit, especially when it also turns out to be responsible for long page loads on shitty internet connections.

No offense intended, @Higus, because this isn't in any way directed at you or anyone else here personally and I don't plan to go so far as to ignore anyone over it. But if it would all just stop for good I'd be one teeny tiny step closer to my ideal world.

And that's all I'm going to say about that.

I'm on chrome and it's not an issue. Strange.
I checked my extensions and I have an HTML5 Autoplay blocker. I wonder if that helps?
