Now that you mention it, Jamie is just as responsible for not fact checking him right then and there. At least Rogan has the excuse of getting carried away and going with the flow, but if your entire job is to babysit the podcast and pull up clips and news articles, fuck him for being quiet.

The counter argument here would be that this could set a bad precedent for him to become the "well, ackshually" andy, but I swear I have heard him do some research and correct Rogan on the spot. Q Anon level conspiracy shit surely would fit here, wouldn't it?

I'm not a huge podcast guy but it's the only one I really listen to since Adam Carolla fell off.

Heard the noise of plastic bags outside, watched through the peephole and saw her carrying away a package of expired frozen chicken I threw out yesterday.

My neighborhood is so fucking gorgeous .I wanted to hit a couple museums today but remembered it's motherfucking football season.


He's supposed to be a really good friend and a lot of comics love him. He's also supposed to be incredible in small clubs but I just... I can't.


I'll give you that, he does match the energy of his guests. I used to watch, but I couldn't even get through the last Bill Burr one he had on and I fucking love Bill Burr. I like when he has his friends on though, Ari Shaffir is an extremely intelligent dude if you listen to his podcast and he'll actually give Rogan shit.

He's supposed to have Bobby Lee on though, and I'll tune in to that. Rogan/Lee would probably be a really good podcast.

Speaking of Ari, they tried to dose him but he flipped the script on the LoS.

Its one thing to make a silly claim that is probably not true but isn't falsifiable like believing in Bigfoot or Aliens but saying something that is obviously not true, easily falsifiable, and also incredibly politically charged in an extremely politically charged climate is incredibly irresponsible.

I don't think people push back enough false beliefs like Bigfoot and aliens (or creationism, the afterlife, etc.--I don't think religion should get an exception). It all contributes to a kind of mindset that is greatly harming the country. I suspect that the re-emergence of creationism helped prep Evangelicals to embrace climate-science denialism, which in turn helped clear the way for a general denialism (why trust the same sources that lie about the world having been around for more than 6,000 years and that routinely promote the Chinese hoax about the climate about anything else?).
