You're not wrong, but we've definitely seen some progress with more down-ballot leftists defeating Dems in primaries recently, so it's not out of the realm of possibility.

But in the meantime, I'm still not voting for Biden, a guy who doesn't give a single shit about what leftists want.
That's not establishing a third party though, that's working within the two party system. Which is not only fine but preferable to trying to run a third party which is doomed to fail.

WWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABBBBBBBBBBBSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!

(Ignore my av)

I still have to watch that, I've seen chunks of both series here and there but never the full thing from start to finish. My favorite episode is the one where that guy who developed a spider tank died and had his friend put his brain in his own tank and then went on a rampage.

Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop, and Black Lagoon are all good anime to recommend to people wh normally wouldn't like anime. Well haven't seen BL but I assume that based off the people I've met who have watched and liked it.

My favorite episode is when those guys who grew a bunch of weed had their crop burned and everyone got high.

I still thought it was very funny but I get what you mean, it started to take itself seriously in the sense of having a plot and trying to create tension beyond plot lines that last for an episode or two. But it had to or else risk stagnation. Think of Breaking Bad, Jesse and Walt could've cooked in the RV for the entire series but that would get lame eventually.

One of my favorites is when Mugen's past ocmes back to haunt him a bit and he has the conversation with the shinigami and refuses to go to the otherside.

Just the way he's like "oh, you guys again... I'm not ready"

Virginia.

I'll keep harping on this but RBG is and Breyer are in their 80s and the next likely to be out is Clarence Thomas followed by Alito.

The Court is already a 5-4 Conservative split. If you replace RBG and Breyer with FedSoc guys in their 40s or 50s I don't think you'll see any Leftist laws upheld for a long while and we're just looking at SCOTUS.

And then of course if the courts block any progress, idiots like BEER just see it as confirming their crazy theories and reinforces the decision to stay out of politics. That, more than anything else, is the obstacle that the left in America faces. And I think it's deliberate in that the right plays up to paranoia on the left.

You live in Pennsylvania.

I honestly don’t think defunding police by much is wise at all. Reorganization of how funds are spent, with more dollars going toward training, would be ideal in my eyes.

Per capita the USA spends roughly the same on policing as the UK, the Bahamas, Israel, Singapore, and less than countries like Hong Kong and Switzerland.

What needs to change is the laws and the oversight and accountability.

Where the USA spends tremendous amounts more than any other nation is for prisons. Largely because there are too many ways to wind up in prisons and prisons here aren’t programmed for rehabilitation but for “profit.” Profit for large corporations at huge cost to the government.

You're right that it's working within the system. It's a different path than a long game of establishing a new party. It may be preferable, but their ideals have to stand the test of time and pressure from establishment Dems. We'll see.

The Supreme Court may be the single strongest argument for Biden, and moderate justices would be preferable to far-right biased judges. I have a feeling most non-accelerationist leftists will plug their noses and vote for Biden, just like I know so many who did the same for Hillary.

I'll go ahead and forgive you for calling me an idiot, but what crazy theories do you think I have? And how exactly am I staying out of politics when I am active in protests, discourse, and vote in every election I can; Local, State, and Federal?

Is Harambe not de rigeur these days?

Dicks out, nevar 4get.

On a side note has any meaningful state gone from solid GOP to solid Democrat quicker than Virginia?

Are you an accelerationist?

@BEER

I replied to him.

For the record, I'm not going to shame anyone who votes for Biden. I know a lot of my friends are plugging their noses because they're scared of Trump and what are almost certainly new Supreme Court picks.

If you vote for Biden, that's cool. But I'm not going to be bullied into voting for the "lesser of two evils", which was the same fucking shit I got in 2012 and 2016.
