I tried all the sorting options and still can't emulate it (either on a pc or mobile device, using any mainstream browser).
If you invert the sorting by last message (arrow pointing up), then the early June threads are at the top, but none of the recent threads will appear.
If you click on "thread display options" on the bottom of the page, what does it have set?

On the other hand plenty of cards get handed out for that sort of necro bump, so if there's an issue with the software it'd be good to know what it is (and get it fixed).

One of the hallmarks of an epic rivalry is heated and polarized discussion, advocacy, and fandom for the two great titans. It is good to see that you as well admire the enduring battle between these two.

Eh, calling it a "rivalry" implies one side has more to offer than skimming mises.org articles, seriously misunderstanding established economic theory (seriously, he's laughably bad at this) and the occasional white nationalist wink wink. Not to mention a lot of his diatribes borderline on thread derailment (entering a thread about something the government does and saying "there should be no government" isn't meaningful contribution). So when they get going in any given thread what I think to myself isn't "let's watch the two of them going at it one more time" as much as it is "oh no not this moron again".

As for Jack, what I look for in his posts is simplicity and nuance, not lengthy eye-opening exposés. In fact what got my attention in the first place (other than hating on Frank Mir in the main forum) was the fact that somehow he could get a lot of hate for simply referencing data. Like there would be a thread on something like wages and employment which would quickly descend into a circlejerk of ignorant uneducated opinions, he would show up and say "y'know, this isn't really true, look at this BLS link" and people would just rage uncontrollably.

LOL for a rather sophomoric attempt at humor I made many hours into my enjoyable Labor Day drunk that post seemed to go over pretty well so I'm going to have to own it.

I don't know if you follow the NFL but my Oakland Raiders just traded one of the best players in the league for no really great reason so I've been over in those threads exchanging sports-level insults for several days now so by the time I made it over here to the War Room I was pretty liquored up and popping off. My sense of humor lately seems to be firmly in the "comedy roast" zone but I'm not going dark or anything.

Anyway maybe I could dial it back a notch so as not to be misconstrued but man I just find some shit to be funny, I can't help it.

I think he's pretty explicit on that last point. The reasoning is that non-whites don't vote correctly and thus, while it would be nice if we could maintain civic nationalism, it's just not practical.

Yep. Used to be just saying, "we won't have hyperinflation by 2012" or "unemployment should continue to fall, and there's no sign of a debt crisis in America" was enough to set people off. I do pride myself on explaining that stuff clearly and with minimal jargon, and on always linking sources for data.

Also, I don't hate Mir. I also used to get shit for allegedly hating Brock, Carwin, Gonzaga, and Kongo, too. I just did not think that the UFC had the top HWs at the time, and they tried to make up for it with propaganda. Used to be a common claim in the HWs that those guys were great fighters and guys like Arlovski, Sylvia, Barnett, and Werdum couldn't cut it in the UFC, and guys like Overeem, DC, and Nelson were bums who the UFC didn't want. My view was that at the HW level, the UFC was the minor leagues (not that the guys I mentioned in this post were bums, but they weren't the best of the division). I think I've been pretty well vindicated on that.

Pretty good. I took it knowing it was less certain than most, but the odds are in my favor for the reasons I explained--I think that we're seeing fluctuations around a long-term trend that is below the target (and thus it's most likely that any period would be below the target, though with a very low degree of certainty); I'm tracking OK on it; and I expect some tailwinds in H1 to become headwinds in H2 (specifically, I think there was a little pull-forward related to the tariffs, which will also put a small drag going forward). I don't see any reason to think that I'm *likely* to lose, but because what we're betting on is unpredictable, it's possible.
