Potatoes in something that tastes really good without potatoes are OK. But potatoes in anything make that thing taste worse.
Sweet potatoes taste bomb on their own. Not sure what you're on about with this heresy. Almost all food requires combination with something else. Meat with salt, herbs, w/e. Whats ever really eaten on its own?

Yes. I wouldn't say that it's just summarizing the science on partisan sorting, and it's entertaining and interesting, but if you're on top of that stuff you might not learn anything you didn't already know. @Lead has read it, too. Maybe he can comment.
I found his thorough atomic disassembly of Ben Shapiro on Shapiro's own show in a non-combative or aggressive way to be a masterwork. It got me interested in his book but I don't just want to read a summary of a bunch of literature I've already read. If its more than that im in.

My memory is pretty awful so I can’t really mention much. If you like Klein’s other stuff, I would think it’s worth a read. He doesn’t really throw up a solution for it so it is somewhat summarizing and adding his own terms like mega-Identities (I could have the term wrong). It isn’t that long either.

Jack, I actually got through Fantasyland. Not too bad. I’ll probably get around to Evil Geniuses.

Again you did not really understand what I meant by what you asked for. Should I really cut a square for you so that you better understand the sarcastic nature in it?

I am an absolute and forever a beginner when I´m online, The only time I feel comfortable is when I work in the closed local network. We have proxies for all reasons, but objects that catch your attention and steal your work time are not in our work computers.

When I use a computer in my private life, it is mostly games via GOG or Steam. Facebook and other things where you can see pictures are taken care of by my wife as we have one together and I gave up the right to private mail, facebook etc. a long time ago due to violent jealousy explosions.

I have throughout my time here expressed joy for posters who talk plainly and in a way that feels very genuine @TheGreatA , @Bald1 , @Rational Poster @Renard , @Madmick , @panamaican @INTERL0PER to name a few. And then the rest of people who do not really say their honest opinion for various reasons. I have also understood that most people here try to play Tarzan and make fun remarks along with images and gif material that they can quickly access to provide a quick and short response, all in the name of likes. This is very reminiscent of when my wife sometimes complains loudly about how a friend's friend has now published a picture of how wonderful life she has, picutres showing her creative newly baked cake and a poodle that has had a new haircut at a professional hairdresser for dogs. She shouts Dislike!

I get the same feeling here. Those who want attention through likes, and what they have in common is that most of the time it is always a matter of twitter long posts or shorter. No depth, no learning feeling but a place where people only seek confirmation. To then talk about something as boring as one's work and all the shit you see and are affected by is not so popular here. So what I meant by what I wrote is related to the mindset I have about most people here. Not that I want to be it myself, as I'm so bad at lying.
You can have a like for the shout out. Stop committing seppuku okay?

This short comment still says a lot. This man has apparently read my features today. It feels genuine and one who has shown patience to read my usually too long posts. Long because I make it harder for me and look up more synonyms so that my English once becomes so perfect that when we go over to New York and rent an RV where we will visit Daytona 500 and Indianapolis 500, I speak so well English that they might think I'm an American.

I have a woman who compromises. I love motorcycles and motorsports. She volunteered for the Isle of Man. There is no better sport to watch Live! And Guy Martin is probably the most weird and funny person I have had a chat with. But damn his English was hard to understand!

There is a thread here about the wall where sherdoggers were bragging about donating to this group to own the libs lmfao

Someone (might have been you) dug up the link, but it's since been deleted. I wonder which one of the swindled hit "Report" to make it all go away.

I wish I had enough disposable income that I could be swindled.

I liked this line from a New Yorker article about the scam, “Is there a word in German for something that is at once extraordinary and shocking and yet at the same time totally predictable and stupid?“

well, @JDragon, is there?

<{1-10}>

You were off to a great start in that game , you had me worried , if you just want to slow play a casual game let me know

Its just a time thing right now.

Only two kinds of racing matter.

I can concede that it's an analogy that has some useful angles to look at, as you've laid out. The context around someone's environment and their genetics are important, and it's never okay to body shame someone, but the solutions in each scenario are not analogous.

If you work three jobs and take out a lot of debt to live the American dream, you're not going to become a millionaire or billionaire. A poor person can become wealthy through hard work but for that to work out it requires timing, luck, connections to capital (of some sort or some degree) and a host of other things to line up perfectly for that poor person to become a millionaire. Getting in shape does not require luck, to any extent. Yes, your genetic dice roll does play a hand. But even if you were born with poor genetics and a slow metabolism, you don't require any degree of luck to burn more calories than you're taking in. That is entirely up to you. Obviously the exceptions are people with like, muscular dystrophy whose genetics literally prevent them from moving.

The analogy is not perfect for sure. But there is a lot there. It’s really going to be the degree to which argue about the role of genetics in being able to lose weight and how much “luck” you need to be wealthy. I think even with a shitty environment but some decent genes most people can become a millionaire and/or lose that weight.

Average intellect, working your ass off, getting into a community college, getting a CPA and putting 6 numbers in a spreadsheet per day, savings like a mother fucker, and you will retire with a million dollars in the bank. That’s just one example. I know people with no degree that are now running their own IT consultancy and it was all self taught. No one gave them capital, they started as a sloggy programmer, went on to a consultancy firm, started creating their own buzz, started their own thing......profit.

The thing is to expect that everyone is just going to have both minimum required brains and social support to just work 60 plus hours a week as well study and work smart is an absolute fantasy. And yes I agree some huge luck there. The exceptions don’t make the rule.

The argument is also over how much do genetics impact weight loss. I have seen normal ranges for individuals of 20% to 80%. There are just some people out there that would literally have to risk malnutrition to get there weight down. So sure it’s possible but it’s going to be extremely difficult.

The problem with “anyone could do it” is that it implies laziness and that a real choice is being made. The single low IQ mom with fatty McFat genes with 8 mouths to feed aint becoming a CPA and she sure as shit is not going to be ready for that beach bikini any time soon.

Ok a big bit of hyperbole at the end there but oh well lol.

Jade Struck.

She's shaved her head now.
That's the ultimate test for how hot a woman is. If she can shave her head and still look hot then she's just naturally beautiful. In Jade's case...

Passed with flying colors.
So I want to apologize Kafir
Wow, didn't expect that. You could've tagged me if you're going to apologize, that I certainly wouldn't have minded at all!

Anyway apology accepted and ya know what? Might as well apologize myself. I can for sure be a cunt at times but idk, to me that is part of the fun of the WR. But you took it a lot more personally than expected. Anyway hope you cool off for a bit, at least while you're on dubs. We were actually worried for you for a minute since COVID took its toll on your country and you disappeared for a while but thankfully you didn't get killed or maimed by the China virus. But @Son of Jamin on the other hand is still AWOL right? Hope he's alright....

Can't find it either, which kinda makes the point. But even that is somewhere within the realm of arguable. But 4??? How can any functioning adult think that's serious?

(Btw, thanks for getting me on some sort of watchlist now that I've searched for "California age of consent 14")

I don't and I'm glad I don't.

I immediately tune out whenever I see anything about large-scale child sex rings. It simply cannot be true. Whatever is legit is small and while yes, it should be stopped it doesn't make the top 500 in the list of social problems to address.
The last few months have been a boom for qanon. they have taken over the Republican party
