It's the protein that torches people. The fridge calculation i've always heard is that 3 grams of protein over your required daily intake will metabolize to 1 gram of carbohydrates. So people go HAM on meat and end up eating just as many carbs as they would if they just ate bread. Staying super low carb is easy once you're cruising, but getting it right can be hard as hell.

A perfectly plausible scenario. I don't claim to be privy to any secret information that leads in any one direction so i can't have a conviction of belief in any direction. Because they live so long, and because they have so much moeny, all of these people are basically dead inside. They've indulged on the finest and best pleasures of life for so long, that nothing really gets them going anymore, so they resort to trying and doing really dark shit to get their rocks off. This one establishment is set up for the members of the elite. Its a high end whore house in the clouds where the elite can go to screw a prostitute and torture or kill the prostitute in the process as a sick way of getting off, because only sick-shit that extreme does anything for them. If global networks DO exist among the bourgeois, this is almost certainly the same type of situation.

I am an absolute and forever a beginner when I´m online, The only time I feel comfortable is when I work in the closed local network. We have proxies for all reasons, but objects that catch your attention and steal your work time are not in our work computers.

I get the same feeling here. Those who want attention through likes, and what they have in common is that most of the time it is always a matter of twitter long posts or shorter. No depth, no learning feeling but a place where people only seek confirmation. If the demographic in question were millions or hundreds of millions of people, it would certainly be an impossibility to conceal such a practice.

In this instance, the demographic in question is incredibly small, insular, socially isolated, and very powerful. We're talking about the global elite. The wealthiest 400 families? The wealthiest 1000 families? I would imagine their ability to maintain control over their own community is much much more powerful than the ability of 1000 common folk families living in the middle class to police and/or maintain their own 1000.
