War Room Lounge v154: People don't realize how many people had to die just for the eight hour day

I'm not a tequila fan but I't give it a try.

A couple of years ago I went to a gin distillery that had gin aged in whiskey barrels that was very nice to sip on.
To be clear, if you've had aged tequila before and didn't like it, that stuff isn't going to change your mind. But if you could see through all the tequila you've ever had, then yeah, it's a night and day difference. I also suggest adding a bit of cold water. Until I tried it I thought it was just unnecessary dilution of the tequila but have learned it helps develop true depth of flavor as you drink it. I hope you like it.

Does anyone else have a very short fuse?

Guys I need some advice. I'm very "passionate" and I yell at my GPS, people who drive too slow, people who make any kind of mistake in traffic I just get so easily angered by it. I need your sagely advice...

I did when I was younger. Been working on it for about 8 years now, though. It's not healthy and people don't like the guy who gets pissed off at everything. Gotta be choosy about which hills to die on.

Stop making mistakes in traffic. You're a mediocre-to-average driver and people are getting tired of it.

I'm too polite to actually bother people most of the time, I keep it bottled up mostly. Unless someone picks a fight or something, but otherwise it's just shameful getting worked up over small things. I get so worked up, I actually get dizzy spells.

It's not personal. I figure if someone cuts me off, hey - they must need to get where they're going faster than me. Because I'm not in a rush, I don't care. If someone makes a dummy move, well, they're the one that has to go through life being a dummy. Not me.

The only thing that might really tick me off in a car is just blatant negligence (like texting while blowing through a red-light) or drinking-and-driving.

Did SDW go for another silly h-file attack and get shut down like a nerd before prom again?

The attack was pretty dope actually. Nice little non-sac on e6, won an exchange and a pawn. Only, he really castled right into it (I had a rook on c8 for a long time, and a pawn on b5, and he castled long) and didn't have any mate threats that didn't require me to walk right into them.

Eat some honey & make sure you're hydrated before you uhh... drive.
Not while driving, I never get dizzy while driving or I would pull over somewhere to settle down. It's when I'm at home. I actually really don't like it.

Remind me after and I'll link you a game where he put it in h and I folded him in about 20 moves with a couple of pawns. GL, the white ethnomasochists are counting on you.

I'm not sure how old you are but it might come naturally with age. I can't remember exactly when it happened but my capacity to give a shit about what anyone else did or is doing fell a lot once I crested 30.

I think I'm going to go through a script before driving, like "The most important part is to drive safely, it's not personal, people are hurried, you won't change them by being angry in your vehicle". What do you think? I feel like if I'm prepared for it, I'll be less likely to mouth off.

I am exactly 30 years old shoemaker. I think it would be pretty cool if I gave zero fucks.
