Welcome back the only decent liberal in fantasy football

Curious, do you think the other liberals aren't decent or only liberal that had a decent season?

The Brosnan love in here is disgusting. He almost killed the fucking series with his shit movies.

So if Trump accepts the Republican nomination in Gettysburg, how many times does he mention that Lincoln was a Republican?

Connery will alwaysh be top dog to me.

But Brosnan man, he's the baseline I measure all other Bonds against. And Goldeneye is an ATG Bond movie.

Maybe it a timing thing. He was the most like the books kind of in between RM and SC. Brosnan was made for the role but besides Golden Eye his films were all dog shit.

Yeah 3 out of 4 were just awful, awful, awful although Roger Moor with his bell bottom buffoonery could give him a run for his money.

I can agree with that. The only other one of his that I even remotely liked was The World Is Not Enough. He had Nas syndrome. His first movie nailed it so spot on that every other one was aiming for that big benchmark and failed.

Good but missing the political angle of why its base is an attractive target to exploit in a democracy

GI came from Canada ? BTFO NAFTA

Well you are otherwise still well very well regarded.

LOL at that Tim "nightmare on Christmas" Burton puppeteering, I cant move my neck, Mr. Mom Batman,...., yeah I think he is awful.

Bronson as Remington Steel was the most anticipated Bond ever. Fans literally protested on the street to have him released from his Steel contract so he could do the Bond films. R Steel was a great TV show (for the time) but his Bond films were crap (except Golden eye was good), I mean he drove an invisible car, what is he wonder-woman?

IMO Connery, Craig, More/Steel, Dalton, Lazerby

These are averages of their Tomato scores and number of films they did. It kind of line up.

I could easily lower Bronson and Moore here (RS = Remington Steel i.e. Bronson) but Dalton and Lazerby did so few films.

The Michael Keaton Batman came out when I was 4....

For most of my generation their first introduction to Keaton was as Batman so we didn't have him typecast as the 80s comedy guy.

Also that Batman was pretty dark especially when the movie interpretation before that was the Adam West version (which I also enjoyed).

I thought Kilmer did a good job as well but the movie wasn't that great. After that you have George Clooney which was pretty abysmal all around.

Batman Begins was great and TDK was solid but I prefer the film noir take from Burton and the dark Bruce Wayne slightly more than Batman Begins and the more outgoing Bruce Wayne.

Can people explain the 007 love for me? It's just never been something I was interested in but people fucking love the series.

It's a secret agent movie with beautiful women, sweet cars, and fun gadgets. You need to be sold more?

Yeah that makes sense. I was ~18 when it came out for me and the film noir was more like the muppet show / dark crystal. Keaton was better than Adam West LOL (which was great comedy), but Burton's take on Batman was just silly. Then as sequels came out in that series it just got progressively worse as it became a "Cannon Ball Run" of big names and really bad film making. Watching it now and it ages very badly.

I guess I would put Keaton as the best of that series (I cant remember val at all but he was probably close) but IMHO the entire series should be buried it is just so bad when you compare it. to the BB / TDK series.

Does anybody remember the James Bond Jr. Cartoon on Cartoon Network?

Good stuff

He is a misogynistic agent of British imperial techno fascism, what is there for an anarchist not to love?
