I'll have to catch-up but Ross seemed to be coming out guns blazing against the allegations.

He's also really close to Dave Attell who seems to be a good dude and one of the sober guys in the industry.
Attell is sober? Wow.

  • The DNC platform committee rejected M4A despite support from voters
  • The House extended the Patriot Act despite giving Trump increased police powers
  • The House approved Trump's military budget instead of sitting on it until January
  • Justice Dems voted for the CARES act then complained about corporations taking money that was meant for small businesses and tax breaks given to the wealthiest 40,000 taxpayers
The Democrats only strategy is that they are not Republicans. Their push is that they are not Trump. Democratic leadership aren't even offering lip service on housing, student debt, healthcare, education, police reform, prison reform. The play is simply to wait until January. Jayapal confirmed this with Nick Brana.

As quickly and efficiently as the Dems rallied to endorse Biden is how quickly and efficiently as you should expect them to get behind a stimulus bill. The Dems would have united to pass healthcare reform, rent/mortgage cancellations, student debt relief, climate change action, clean water in Flint, or any of their supposedly progressive issues if they really wanted to.

The Obamas and Clintons could have held impromptu pressers or Zooms calling out the Republicans for a shitty bill and publicly pressuring them. Just like they did with Sanders supporters.

Pelosi, Schumer, Sanders, Warren, the Squad could have created a united front and walked to the floor of the Senate and demanded action. They could have said they weren't leaving the capitol building until they reached an agreement. If they really wanted to. But instead they went home for a 3-day weekend.

If Trump is really so bad, the House could have sat on the military budget. The House could have refused to fund Homeland or extend the Patriot Act. Any Democratic Senator could say stall a bill, if he/she really wanted to.

So this argument about the Dems not being together is silly. They are together. Just not together with their voters. Just vote for them anyway because they aren't Republicans. Vote for Biden because he is not Trump.

No thanks.

I have no knowledge of Canada's postal service, but I've had nothing of great experiences with USPS until the past two months. I've had at least three checks for work get lost since April and currently packages are taking insanely long (I ordered a package from California that was originally supposed to arrive five days later on August 2nd and now is scheduled to arrive August 12th).

My experiences with UPS have been okay. Not a fan of FedEx at all. But I have no problem with either existing to provide whatever added value they are able to. But there is no way that either will offer full services to rural communities.

@ChoppyChoppyPeePee

No direct deposit. Seems legit.

Nah, I think he's just a troll. I've never seen a left wing person, online or elsewhere, that is as categorically opposed to left wing figures and left wing accomplishments as him.

FFS, he's simultaneously bitching about Democrats compromising (saying Dems don't care about issues if they seek compromised resolution and that AOC/Omar are sellouts) and also bitching about them not reaching compromise with Republicans.

He's Tim Pool imo.
That's cold man. I have responded to you honestly.

But because I disagree and I don't except the lame excuses made by the dems, you think I'm a troll. Nice.

I think you are a partisan hack. You have never criticized the Dems. You kiss at the ring of the ice cream queen and except her empty platitudes. If Trump wins, you should do a walk of shame.

I’m to the right of many of you but I feel confident in saying the majority of the country isn’t ready for politics as far left as you’d like. If you disagree that’s fine.

I think the best bet for progressives (at least concerning a presidential election) is incremental change until demographics have swung enough in your direction. The answer is clearly NOT allowing the election of whichever politician will MOST accelerate the destruction of environment, MOST strengthen the military/police state, and cause the MOST erosion of social programs. As we’ve seen how difficult it is to reverse these trends once they’re under way.

To act like there’s no difference between Biden and Trump is the height of idiocy. And I say that as someone who doesn’t care for either and won’t vote for either. But if I lived in a swing state I’d vote Biden for sure.

I'm in no way excited about a Biden presidency, but the right wing fearmongering about how Biden will be influenced by the Left is a valid concern for them, because it's a valid truth for us.
Always a boogie man.

Don't worry. Biden will comfort you.

Everything would be great, if it wasn't for those guys over their in red.
