Yeah, I'm the same way. But being a person with certain current and former political/ideological affiliations, I take good care to obfuscate my identity and separate my political musings from my public identity. Kind of like if Lenin penned all of his essays as "Comrade Big Dick" while in exile.

Palis is the most annoying of the group imo. Bloodworth would probably by the most tolerable if you can tune out the leering and remarks about passing by "tail."

I've actually played videogames with a few folks here, though I haven't met any. I do have an irl friend who I initially met on 4chan, of all places.

There are some far righties that I could get along with - unipackmass and the dude with the Lesnar face avatar come to mind - but Palis is definitely not one of them. I'd rather go to a Ted Nugent concert with Bloodworth or get turned into swiss cheese by Imbrued Esculence.

Sure. My meet-ups from here aren't with the intention of arguing politics. In fact, the subject barely gets touched on. Really hasn't been much discussion of the web board in general.

I feel like we get fairly limited glimpses of each other through our posting so I don't necessarily assume things are going to be a certain way in real life. Although I can't honestly say my level of excitement going in would be the same across the board.
