You gonna do some snorkelling? My girlfriend was in the phillipines for 3 months last year and she still hasn't shut up about snorkelling in Palawan.
Probably not. There's some diving, but its not great and I'm pretty spoiled on that front. Right now I'm just enjoying the food and sightseeing.

Tequila recommendations and... go!

I don't want to spend over like $90 on a bottle though. Looking at Casamigos and I like Herradura (the one that has the horseshoe on the label) but am looking to "diversify" so to speak. Friend suggested a brand that is aged in whiskey barrels but it's almost $100.

What do you want to do with your tequila? Mix it or sip it?

Sip it. I know for margaritas it's best to go buy 100% Agave but the cheap stuff. It's like whisky, you don't use the expensive stuff to mix.

I've had Casamigos silver and like it, I like El Jimador even though it's on the cheaper side but am wanting to try a Repasado or Anejo. Figured if I get a MAST permit to be a bartender I should diversify the liquor I drink so I can give customers recommendations that aren't just "this scotch is good. This bourbon is good and I like this gin" just to get a "I prefer tequila and vodka" and then have a blank "derp" look on my face.

Don Julio I like. For the money, Costco tequila is good.

For mixing I really like Hornitos. I haven't investigated tequila as a sipping drink, though.\

There are generally cheap but high quality versions of all spirits because a lot of the price (this is especially true for, say, whiskey and vodka) is marketing. The best gin cocktail I've ever had was made with Gordon's. I'd probably never sip Gordon's, but that's typically what I stock my cabinet with unless something fancier's on sale.

For whiskey, it's a bit of a dirty secret that a handful of distilleries do all the distilling for the whiskey industry. The only difference between them is the time, type of barrel, and of course, the marketing. Alberta Distillers, for example, does the distilling for Canadian Club (I think, either that or Crown Royal), and you can get AD products for a serious discount.

Went for a walk this morning in the 94 degree sun. Stopped by a roadside stand that poured me coconut water straight from the coconut and then scraped out the meat and turned it into breakfast. Incredible.

You're easy to please, eh.

Oh I know. The company that distills Jim Beam also does Evan Williams and I think Buffalo Trace as an example.

I know Costco Vodka is some of the best that I've tasted used in like Bloody Mary's. Last I heard Costco vodka is basically Grey Goose that hasn't been distilled as many times.

Got a bottle in my cupboard. :)

Heaven Hill (the cheapest shit to ever exist) also does Elijah Craig Bourbon and Rittenhouse Rye....

There's obviously a big difference between Evan Williams, Jim Beam, and Buffalo Trace when you drink it though.

It's like how Coors is the brewer for Blue Moon and between the two Blue Moon is way tastier than anything with the Coors label.

Espolos and Milagro are a couple of good sipping tequilas at a bargain price.

Oh fuck. I saw the first two pages and it wasn't too bad, so I just stopped while I was ahead.

EDIT: The first comment I saw of someone kicking dirt on the guy was TCK....who called him an agent of chaos and a tyrant...but who was a vibrant supporter of his in 2008.

Him and almost every other RWger here. Yet liberals are hypocrites for saying that while they disagree with him, had respect for him. Better to support his as a presidential candidate and spit on his grave ....

Edit not saying everyone rwger is spitting on his grave btw

Frankly, I have no problem with kicking dirt on bad people when they die. And, also frankly, if the persons that are doing so had been so critical of him consistently through their lives, I wouldn't call foul. I reserve to do the same whenever someone that I really hate like Mitch McConnell dies.

But the people who supported him, supported his causes, will continue to support similar causes when people they like are spearheading them, but are saying he's a traitor, RINO, etc. just because he (rightfully) disliked their messiah? Because he didn't support a bill that would have thrown millions off healthcare and raised prices for the rest of us...and was bad for almost everybody? Fucking pathetic.

And the ones like TCK that are claiming to dislike him because he's a warmonger? Also hilarious since they cheered it on while pissing and moaning about how Obama was a pussy.

That’s the thing, the RW Cog dis is off the charts here. Good riddance from daddy.....

Sure libs like him because he was giving daddy a hard time, just like they liked him when he was giving GW a hard time.

But I need a little more to spit on someone’s grave that what I am seeing here. Maybe if you were always pro peace, anti intervention, etc. you could say “who cares/good riddance ”. But this seems like another level.

It's hard to respect anyone who watches those America's got talent type shows. It makes me very nihilistic about life in general when I see shit like that.

Dude.

Start at 1:40 in the second one.
