Given that @Prokofievian and @Higus are (imo) exceptionally pragmatic leftists that may know more about this issue than I, I'll tag them to weigh in.

It is sad, but Im not crying over it. I’m just glad that others like Lincoln are also being recognized as the racists they were.

of course, this was a different era. Most were racists and white supremacists. If monuments of white supremacists must be removed, they may as well take down every one prior to 1965.

Yea, that’s why I’ve started capping how long the bets can be for with these newer account. I still want people to have the ability to bet but the new accounts tend to over leverage cause they don’t put much value on the account itself. For the record, the bet is still alive for ranking purposes. There just won’t be any reward/ punishment for sig or av since he’s gone.

It was an accumulation of flaming and advocating violence. Like I said, there’s quite a few bans and cards that were handed out for that which is why the pop up became necessary.
