You or anyone know what the official reason was why they weren't investigated for even manslaughter charges when the shooting happened, rather than 2 months later after a viral video? I'm curious as to what the official response at the time that allowed them to go without looking into it.

The 3rd prosecutor who ended up with the hot potato claimed he wanted to convene a grand jury but couldn't because of Covid-19 shelter in place orders at the time.
