Grow up and buy an axe imo
I have a hatchet but my wife stopped me from buying a sword at the antique store months ago.

What's the answer, though? Police departments have been adapting with body cams, etc. I'd like a perfect world where no wrongful deaths happen, and if they do, their buddies wont look out for them, but to me, voting seems to have much more effect than rioting and looting.
I'd be confused.Imagine breaking into my appartment and I’m sitting on a chair backwards holding an axe, I’m dressed like a granny and shit
@Darkballs
BTW, just lol @ seriously supporting the idea that the president can just arbitrarily choose to move around for the purpose of manipulating and dispersing crowds of people like he's using a magical force field.

Always confuse your enemyI'd be confused.
It's not a big mystery, the answers are here:

Policing practices have thoroughly studied for decades now and a bunch of solutions have come out from this. This is the best, research-based set of solutions that I know.
All 10 of these methods have a plethora of studies backing up their effectiveness.
Is this like a more extreme version of the suit up scene from 13 Hours:Always confuse your enemy
I never realized how great we had it in 2019
This is awesome, gonna bookmark it. This is what we need more of from the movement; solid ideas for reform based on research and case studies. It's not a big mystery, the answers are here:

For home protection, I advocate an MPX.@PolishHeadlock2
If this is intended to be used to protect house and home and you get any semi-automatic handgun get one with a rail for a light. You need to be able to see what you point the thing at and it's easier to shoot with two hands if the light is attached to the gun.

@Gregolian @Falsedawn @HockeyBjj I'm in line at the gun store and its packed. What handgun should I get?
I'm a novice and I'd like my wife to be able to handle it
Oof. Should have done some research before. Trying to on the spot decide on a gun while in line in like 20 minutes is not the way to do it. Do they have a range with rental guns? If so, paying $20 bucks to try one out and see how you like it is absolutely the best way to go.
I would recommend something in 9mm. If dedicated to buying something like right now you really can’t go wrong with a Glock. It’s like a high floor, low ceiling fantasy football start you won’t be disappointed in. Glock 17 for a full sized nightstand type gun with very little recoil and large magazine. Glock 19 if you’d be interested in one day getting your conceal carry.
glocks don’t have a physical safety like a hunting shotgun or rifle. I’ve been happy with my Ruger sr9c (sr9 full size) and it has a thumb safety if that makes you more comfortable. Don’t monkey with a Glock trigger tho, and it’ll never go off without a deliberate pull anyways.
Well I've been in line for a little over an hour.
At this point I'm getting whatever they have left.
