Is Ruth's Chris a decent place to go and eat? Been trying to hunt down good places to eat in Salt Lake City for me and my folks to go to when they move out here and I've heard of them before and I know the restaurant was used as a bit of a plot device in The Wire but I've never known anyone that has been to one.

The NFL, NBA, and MLB should be fine. Probably the NHL as well. They work with billions of dollars and can just readjust by massively firing most of their stadium personnel. Smaller leagues might be in trouble. I know the MLS is getting kinda nervous. Minor league baseball is probably also looking at tough times ahead.

But I don't think interest will wear off. The only precedent to this is probably WWII. And from what I know, it bounced back pretty quickly.

And personally, audience-less sports does suck... but no sports at all sucks even harder. WTF am I supposed to start picking up? Tiger King or whatever dumb bullshit is popular right now??
Some teams should be used to playing with no fans.

Baltimore Orioles
Detroit Lions
Seattle Mariners
Edmonton Oilers....

So it won't be a huge change for them right?

So you were there when Brock almost killed himself?
Yup. I was half deaf for like 2 weeks after.

The Goldberg pop I am pretty sure they edited the level of it for the broadcast. At least I remember it being louder in person than it comes across on the YouTube clips of it.

Only if you enjoy amazingly prepared steak.

I don't remember a specific thread about that. Maybe it was one of those Plat nation turds.

Dammit. I will have go search again.
Pretty sure Jei showed up and talked about.

Ruth's Chris is decent but you can usually find better for that price range

Lets not forget. Phoenix Coyotes, Florida Panthers, Florida Marlins, TB Rays and Jacksonville Jaguars. Oh and the Chargers.

I would rather the report. I dumped a thread the other day where people were bitching about mods allowing it to exist. Yet it got to 4 pages before anyone bothered to report it.
Well, you have to do something about the hood-like, "stop snitching" culture that you guys created here, if you want to solve that problem. That responsibility is entirely on you guys. I'm not even a favored son these days, yet I hear a lot about who reports what. From you guys. Just a thought ;)

I have a soft spot for the Jags. Partially cause their QB this season saved my college team.

Luke Falk leaves for the draft, the heir apparent in Tyler Hillinski is found dead in his apartment, of suicide. Minshew shows up on campus as a transfer portal QB and first meeting with the team he apparently said to the guys there:
"I'm not Tyler, I never met Tyler, and I can't replace him. But let's go out there and fight for him this season"

And the team had one of their best seasons ever.

To be fair, my mom can make a pretty damn good steak too.

The hardest thing is going to be finding a seafood place in Utah.

I must continue searching then.

I don't recall the thread you're talking about. Lemme call a friend @TeTe.

I was wrong it was the whole doxxing thing

"It's not even in the same ballpark. The number of registered complaints to Crave about personal information posting is through the roof from the Off Topic: Bare Knuckle Discussion subforum compared to all others combined. These complaints come not just from people that do not post in the OT, but also from OT regulars."

It seems my memory is not what it used to be :(

The hard truth that we all learned is that Thai kicks become deadlier with age.

He took me down for a whole 2 days for besmirching his son. Ban hammers come quick when you live in the basement below a sherdog mod.

I must continue searching then.

I have a buddy who lives in Utah and I'd ask him but he only just moved there recently like you

I found a great place downtown to purchase fresh seafood.

https://marketstreetgrill.com/fish-markets/

They have a restaurant but they also have a section that sells fresh seafood. And I assume you can get some good seafood dishes if you eat in their restaurants but it's right downtown which depending where you live, like where I do, could be a near 30 minute drive to get to it.

"It's actually not that hard to talk a fish into existential despair"

Oh yeah. During the plat nation debacle doxxing was a real issue.
