It's like anything. Moderation is key. When you're on a roll playing with bank money you feel invincible. But if you're in a hole you convince yourself your only one game away from being in the black again. There's a reason I will never allow myself to go to Vegas.

I had a run where I felt so unbeatable I went all in on 7/3 unsuited.

There's a reason I will never allow myself to go to Vegas.

I went to Vegas once. Made money on Pettis beating wonderboy 2nd night there. Told myself the money I made there was the gambling money I’d have for the rest of the trip. Ended up losing it all. Probably not as bad because they kept feeding me free drinks which at Vegas drink prices about balanced out the rate I’d ever so slowly lose at blackjack or wife would lose playing the flashy slot machines.

But you need to walk in with a set amount of cash in your pocket you’re willing to lose for entertainment money, and then walk away when it’s out.
