I was watching this guy on YouTube who repairs phones tear apple a new one, he slags the bad internal designs off, overheating issues cause premature death of the chips, everything's hard soldered on and apple are cunts when you take it to their service centres. The amount of times he's fixed a minor problem in 20 minutes after the customer said the genius bar stated they need a new laptop cos it would cost a thousand dollars to repair it. Fucking robbers..they have pushed for right to repair legislation in Washington but of course apples lobbyists have managed to stop them. I think apple lost a similar case in European courts recently, so repairs are going to get a lot cheaper over here.

Question for those of you that haven't been working for the past couple of months. What's it like? I haven't had proper time off (i.e. stay at home, not up to much) in about 20 years. I've heard people say that you go crazy not working, but with all the modern forms of entertainment like tv shows, internet, podcasts, movies, audio book in addition to traditional stuff, I'm not convinced I'd be bored or would miss work.

Also, funny thing about Covid is how it's changed the narrative on a lot of posting here. There use to always be those "Europe is lost" threads, especially Sweden and Germany. But now it seems like Sweden is en vogue to the far right because of their Covid response of all things. Maybe people don't want to say Europe is lost when the Call to Prayer is being played in Minnesota and we're leading the COVID related death statistics, and Trump look like an absolute clown, and our healthcare system looking woefully inadequate.
