Owner: yeo lets go to the vet
Bird: *Reverse demonic spell casting
Owner: We can do that later

Imagine hearing that in the middle of the night and not knowing what it was.

I'm good, still working. Wife is working from home.

I feel for ya, you're in that sweet spot of not being able to be helped just yet. Hopefully your situation changes and you get some sort of relief. It must be terrible to watch your business fall apart and there is nothing you can do. You guys must have a very low case count though right? Being a small island and all. At least you've got that going for you right now. Canada in general seems to be doing pretty good throughout this.
Yes, which is leading me into a kind of emotional split that is causing me a lot of weird stress. I empathize a great deal everyone who is in need of the programs announced so far, and good for them. The approximately 2 week wait until things get started must seem like an eternity to someone living paycheck to paycheck with no money coming in. But at least they have the assurance of the programs being made public and only a matter of time to implementation. I am not in any great dire straits right this moment, but the day of reckoning will soon come when everyone is ready to get back to normal (except tourists, a large part of my business) and not only will I have no cash flow to do that but I'll have missed out on months of sales that I was counting on to help see me through the slow period at the end of this year.

PEI is doing great in terms of mitigating the spread of CoViD-19. And I understand that's only because of the effectiveness of measures to close everything down. Also, the provincial government has been very responsive. We should wear our response as a badge of pride. But that's also the recipe for instant death of my business. I can only hope they eventually get around to me and give me some peace of mind before I go right off the deep end with worry.
With my schedule I get 13. With strategic book offs and vacation I can turn it into 21 weeks.

For the guys who have been here longer and have more vacation time they can turn it into almost 26 weeks.
So, a government job, healthcare maybe, but that's definitely the sort of deal you'd get through CUPE, where the longer you stay on the more vacation you get.

More Ozark 3 stuff
like I’ve seen the whole season so don’t open if you aren’t through it all
better than season 2 simply because it didn’t just do the same storyline each episode. The way they evade being arrested is still ridiculous but not bad. They also just right to the chase in the final five minutes. Season 1 was best, season 3 second and season 2 worst so far:

Regular hard pretzels kind of suck and are not much different than saltines.

Soft pretzels are proof that God exists and hard pretzels with peanut butter in them are proof that he loves us.

1. Seal breaks on water heater and basement floods. BOO!

2. Guy can come out today. YAY!

3. Guy isn't allowed to work on it. BOO!

4. Because it's under warranty and is free. YAY!

5. But they can't come out until Monday. BOO!

6. But leak can be routed to the drain so water can stay on. YAY!

Life is a rollercoaster sometimes, buds.
