If I could I would but I straight can’t afford one right now. And I don’t mean like the training needed for working dogs. Vet bills and stuff I’m talking about I don’t think I could properly care for them right now.

Just FYI, you can adopt special needs dogs/cats and hospice ones for whom the shelter will pay their vet bills and you only need to pay for food and give them cuddles.

It's really common with FeLV+ cats and dogs with cancer.
