You two keepin' secrets now? It went from pusscake to pattycake.

Ha. Considering he's been in my neck of the Woodlands (pun intended) I figured I would tell him where I live. Especially since I can walk outside and hit the course. I also never turn down a potential golfing buddy (Especially considering he may be a ringer

Had some A5 wagyu at a high-end joint in LA. A block of it was shared by the table. Put my bone-in ribeye to shame. Had to eat a third of it before my taste buds recalibrated.

Cut in the Palazzo is solid. Definitely worth trying. It will cost you 1k though

Will it make you go like this?

Yeah, the smoke and I imagine the char from a flame will beat the pan, but maybe I’m wrong about that.

Maybe next time I'll try one steak each way. One thing about the searzall is you're working top down and I wonder how much heat isn't getting to the meat. Would be interested in seeing how things would go with heating on an elevated rack from below.

Lol. Great gif. I think it's worth it

Fortunately my Wagyu experience was on someone else's dime. Can't imagine the occasion where I'd be that spendy. Maybe if I'm dying and decide to max out my credit cards. $100 is my limit on steak. Over $65 is where I start questioning if it's worth it.

Nice. Yeah Bob's is gone and it was a solid spot. Mostly Morton's and Killens now. Trulucks is still here and Hudson Hubble, Black Walnut are quality.

Well if you ever make it down here we can certainly swing the sticks. Sounds like you would kick my ass so maybe we do a scramble and you're part of my team lol.
Forgot about Trulucks, that place is great, too.

Will do. I used to be a member of Clubcorp, so there are like 8 courses in you area I could play with no green fees, including Deerwood (Tin Cup course). That place got smoked by the hurricane a few years ago, and I haven’t been back since. I heard their iconic clubhouse had to be torn down. Sad. I’m no longer a member of Clubcorp. But I love the courses down there.

In fairness, there's a certain flavour quality to bone-in meat that you don't get otherwise, not to mention the savoring of the remains by gnawing on the bone (at least when you're at home LOL). To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven. Embrace variety guys.

It is. Can't beat the Stone Crabs. Nice. They've rebuilt Deerwood (that's obviously Kingwood). Even the pools are open now there. Yes it is. Phil loves it lol. Champions clubhouse is a little better though (Tiger used to hold court when they had the Tour championship here)

We'll be good to get on anything. You ever play Blackhorse in Cypress?

Nope. Knock yourself out. Please try to represent my statements accurately when you do.
Do you think I have a tendency to do otherwise?

Anyway, your dismissal of therapy is based upon what, exactly? Encyclopedic understanding of mental illness? Ditto your suggestion that he lacks self-respect or that such self-respect would be threatened by speaking to a therapist, where the fuck did you get that idea?

We had a tee time at Blackhorse once but got rained out and ended up drinking all day. My buddy has played it, though, says it’s nice. So what are you, a sports agent or something?

Whether or not you have a tendency aside, you just attributed shit to me that I didn't say.

While I'm not the world's foremost authority on therapy, I have worked as a counselor. I've also known more people that have gone for years than have attributed any fixing of problems to having seen one. Now how about sharing what exactly makes you qualified to express an opinion? :)

Isn't all golf outings day drinking lol? It's a good course but I always play like shit there. I manage athletes. Very profitable but not nearly as glamorous as one may think
